Never would you have though that a 7 year old had to see their best friend get shot right in front of you.

Lily, your best friend that you met in kindergarten shot in front of you. It was just the beginning of second grade and now you had no friend.

The one person who stood up for you when you were bullied. Gone.

The one person who tried making you laugh. Gone.

The one person who stood by your side for two years. Gone.

The person who was nice to you. Gone.

The person who truly meant something to you. Gone.

Forever

You had gone to her house but her dad wasn't always the best person ever.

You two played and had fun. But then her dad got really drunk and started throwing things and punching them. He never really like his daughter or his wife. But he never thought he hated them this much.

You two had gotten into your fathers and mothers room to play dress up. And she even took one of his cigars to play with, not to light one up but just to act like her dad.

He got home really upset started drinking then crashed was heard.

After a while he went upstairs and saw you and his daughter messing everything up. Or that was his perspective. He started yelling at you and Lily.

He ended up pushing you down and towards the wall hard. It hurt your back. He put his hands around your neck but Lily pushed him away then he got more annoyed. He smacked her head with force.

"Stop it! You're going to kill her if you hurt her. You're a bully!" But maybe you shouldn't have said anything. He got annoyed with you talking, and you probably gave him the idea of what you didn't see coming.

He took out something from the drawer next to the bed and next thing you knew, your best friend Lily was laying on the floor with a puddle of blood around. Her eyes, you could see the pain in her eyes. The sadness.

The wife came in and started crying and called the cops. He started pushing and even slapped you and even he punched a bit. He ended up aiming the gun at you but Lily's mother stopped him from doing anything. She cried and cried. You cried and cried. You had an emergency phone with you so you called your dad. He immediately answered and said he would go as fast as he could.

But not to fast. The police weren't fast. Because he had just shot his wife. You crawled to her crying and trying to wake her up but she didn't.

You got blood all over yourself.

"Maybe you should've have kept your shut." He started dragging you out the door with his hand around your small neck but you scratched his arm and ran back in the room holding on to your best friend. He was really crazy but you didn't know that until now.

"You little shit!"

He went on how he was tired of people and was going to kill them all. But thankfully he wouldn't be able to. Because the police came, but you wished they came fast enough.

Behind them was your father. Tony Stark.

He came inside and picked you up and took you downstairs. The paramedics came.

They were going to take you over to the hospital but your dad just took you to the avengers tower.

Bruce had you checked up and Natasha tried cheering you up.

But you couldn't from all the emotions you had so you passed out.

You had woken up and looked around you and saw that you were in your room with wires stuck on your arm.

Your dad was sitting in a chair across from your bed. He saw you wake up and rushed towards you.

He kneeled next to your bed and move your hair out of your face. "Hey baby. You're alright. Everything's alright"

You didn't say anything but you just looked at him with sadness.

"Can you tell me what happened?" He asked with concern in his voice.

You didn't speak.

"Why aren't you speaking sweet heart? What did he do to you?" You still did not answer.

He took you to Bruce worried about his daughter.

"The trauma was probably too much for her. He also could have said something to provoke her to not talk. But it could have most likely been about what happened. She'll talk when she's ready Tony, or maybe never-" Tony shot him a glare.

"Sorry but it could be possible. It's wether she wants to or not. Because I checked her body and checked for anything severe but she's completely fine. Her mind is probably not having her speak. She probably doesn't want to. We don't know but she does. All we can do is help her through everything. And if she doesn't choose to speak, then find a way to communicate with her" Tony looked at his daughter then back at Bruce.

"Like ASL?" Tony asked and Bruce shrugged a bit, it was barely noticeable but then Bruce just nodded.

Bruce put a shoulder on your shoulder but you finches and moved away.

Bruce sighed and said, "She might be frightened around people and with violence. So we have to be careful with that. We don't want to provoke anything worse."

"Yea. Come on, pumpkin. Let's get you to bed" Tony said and took you to your room.

He laid you on your bed and he sat next to you. "Are you ok?" You shook your head no.

"I figured. How bout some cheeseburgers? That always cheers you up?" You shook your head once again. He sighed and kissed your forehead.

"I'll make sure to make everything fine from here on out. I'll try my absolute best" He said and you didn't respond but decided to go to sleep again.

You went to school for a while more and got bullied by some people but others decided to keep distance.

10 years old. Tony took you to the medical room. Bruce and Helen Cho was there.

"What's wrong with her?" Tony asked as things with you gotten worse. You still haven't spoken and you learned more ASL but we're still quite learning.

They looked into you and checked and even had JARVIS confirm it.

"She has an anxiety disorder." Tony sighed and sat down on a chair in the room.

'What's that?' You signed. Jarvis translated and Bruce sighed.

"It's what had been happening with you" Tony simply said.

"And she also might have a bit of PSTD. She's been telling Natasha that she has scary dreams almost every night. About what happened and what could've happened and such" Bruce said.

"But. On the bright side. She has seem to get rid of her depression" Bruce daughter and Tony smiled sadly at his daughter who was confused.

Middle school was tough for you. You were just in the sixth grade and you still wouldn't talk. Some people didn't want to mess with you because you were after all Tony Stark's daughter but others didn't mind to do what they wanted to you. You never told your dad about the bullies and never will. It'll be a nightmare if he found out.

But your dad pulled you out after you complained about middle school and you felt that the people didn't understand you. And you felt like you didn't fit in. You left out the bullying part. So your dad decided home schooling for you would work. You spoke to Natasha with sign and had fun moments making fun of the boys because they had absolutely no clue on about you were saying.

Still no spoken words. You hoped for the best, but something told me that the future wouldn't be the best.
