April's POV;
I walked into our garage and grabbed my skate borad as I opened to garage door and stepped out. Sam got on his bike and then silently exited the garage after me, closing the door behind him. He sped off down the road, whilst I, on the other hand put my earphones in and blasted 'Sweet Blasphemy' by Black Veil Brides. After I did that, I started skating down the sidewalk after Sam.
I was bobbing my head along to the beat of the song when Trent rolled up in his car besides me.
He rolled down his window, "Hey there little bunny," he said trying, and failing to sound appealing. I turned my head and looked at him through my goggles and flipped him off. He smirked and whistled, I could feel my cat like pupils narrow into even more thinner slits from annoyance.
"Feistly, I like it," He leaned more out the window and semmed to be undressing me with his eyes. "I can imagine what you would be like in my bed." That was it. I stopped skating abrubtly and turned to face him. He smiled smugly and pulled over and got out of his car. I stepped off my board and picked it up. He walked over to me and put his hands on my hips. I resisted the urge to shudder in disgust and shove him off of me, but instead let him lean in. Just as he was about to make our lips touch, I elbowed him in the gut then sent him three rabbit punches.
I took a step back, from the keeling child and got back on my board as I put it down. "Your decisions are your downfall." I said as I started skating away. I went extra fast, for I feared that he would be in pursuit. I turned my head a little and sighed in releif when I saw him still keeling over where I left him.
A little later I arrived at my highschool.
I ignored the usual stares I got from a few people because of my strange coat and goggles, and walked over to the doors, coat billowing in the wind behind me. I saw Sam going through his bag and saw him pulling out random objects at times. Oh look-a pair of cruddy glasses. Sigh. But actually the more I looked at the glasses, the more I got this weird feeling in my stomache, it felt like a pull, almost as if I was drawn to them. I shook my head, it was probably just me being odd. I opened the doors of the school and went to my locker.
TIME SKIP
I sat down at my desk and put down my book. I'm still wearing my coat if your wondering. Okay, you probably weren't, but I just wanted to tell you.
Today we were doing a presentation about genealogy or something like that. I didnt really pay attention, why did we have to anyways? So for the first few presentations, I spent the time drawing SoulStar in my book.
I was drawing in her eyes when I heared Mr. Tanners voice call out to me, "April, you better pay attention when you're brother goes up I hope." Dont sass me old man. Instead of saying that, I just put my pencil down and look at Sam, who's bringing his bag o' goodies up to the front.
He shuffles around with his bag, "Sorry I got alot of stuff." The class laughs lightly a little bit at that, I dont know why though. "Okay, for my family genealogy report-" Sam starts to say, but then Trent throws an elastic band at his throat. I whip my head around to see him chuckling with his friends, with his arm drapped around Mikaela. When he notices me he visibly pales and I lift up my hand and make a chopping motion, to make him remember what I did this morning. He gulps and I turn around, mentally smirking, the goggles make it more creepy.
"-straight to the artic shelf. So that's the story right? And here we have some of the basic instruments and tools used by 19th century seamen." The class laughed lightly at this again. I saw Mr. Tanner hold up a stop sign that said something on it. Seriously though, it makes no difference wether he shoves it in our faces or not, it wont work any bit with this class.
