Flickered

~Chapter 13

The wolf's fur shown in the light of the moon as he howled contently, when he heard it coming,the beast. He immediately stopped howling and ran. He ran, and ran, and ran until his legs could bare no more. He stopped at a large tree surrounded by small trees and shrubs.

The wolf lay between the shrubs and the large tree staying hidden from the baleful monster.~

"Umm" I sighed. How was I ever going to complete Chapter 13 if i didn't know what to write? What was I to do? I wasn't gonna give up! Even if I couldn't write.

I thought as hard as possible, and in a few minutes I was writing faster than ever.

~The wolf got out from between the tree and shrubs, then looked around cautiously. Once he saw the coast was clear -a saying that here means, to have no one around- he started on his way to the unicorns cove, trotting alone... ~

"He ended up at a riskless place, where he transformed before entering the unicorns cove." I read along in a quiet voice. I turned around in my chair to check the door, and it was closed. Then i started to write again.

~He looked over his shoulder to see if the beast was still trying to find him then entered the cove to find the rare magic from the unicorns."

The next day half the chapter was done,5 more pages and it would be complete. Except for the fact that i had writers' block.  I didn't know what to do next. Why me, I thought as I looked over the chapter. Just then I understood what i had to do!

~The unicorn king challenged him to battle for the rare magic. And so he did. He -as now a unicorn- turned into a dragon and knocked all the kings knights in the air. Then the king, frightened, challenged the dragon to battle himself with no magic involved. The dragon agreed, and he turned himself back into his regular form, Aaron the shapeshifter. -

Did he win? Or do i make him lose? I thought. Happily ever after? Or does his daughter die making him depressed forever? I was so confused on what I wanted!

Seconds later my phone rang, it was Kaylee. "Hi, Kay." I answered her call. I waited for a response "hey!" she squealed, "how's Chapter 13 working out for you?" I sighed. "Oh, that bad?" she said, "well I wish you luck." I sighed again then answered, "you have no idea, how many times, I erased half of what I had done." I told her. A few minutes after not answering me, I heard a loud smash and screaming over the phone. "Wha- what happened? Kaylee? Kaylee? Oh god!" I rushed out the door.

Something happened on my way over. I saw Kaylee running towards me, she was holding her dog, Puffy. " what happened?" I said worried and confused. She held out Puffy, "she- she." Kaylee started crying "she ran into my mirror and won't wake up." she sobbed " it was a pretty hard hit." I took Puffy into me hands, and we started running to the vet.

At the vets' office, we paced in the waiting room getting ready for the emotional intelligence. The vet came out with Puffy in her arms, she was sitting awake with her eyes wide open, giving us a goofy little smile. We took her into our arms. Kaylee cried tears of joy.

We went to her house for tea, and to celebrate Puffy. All was well. I walked home at 9:00, to eat dinner and then to my room to watch a movie. I fell asleep about half way through.

I woke up feeling kinda crappy. I took my pills and another one for my unwanted headache. Feeling dizzier than ever I got dressed, and stumbled down the stairs for breakfast. Holding my head I ate fast, and lay down on the couch. I don't know why but the headache wouldn't go away. It was as if I was being punished for something, I stood up slowly, and got a bucket for just in case I were to throw up.

My head kept pounding. I couldn't make it stop even if i took another pill. I didn't know what to do. Soon later my mom came in the room and saw I wasn't at school. "What are you doing home?" she said concerned, I looked at her in pain. "It won't stop!" I cried, "my head keeps pounding, and it just won't stop." she felt my head. "Lets go!" she helped me stand, "this is terrible! You have a high fever! We're going to the hospital!"
