CHAPTER 2: HIGH-SCHOOL

I took a deep breathe-A few-. "well you ready," I said worried. "only if you are," Misty sighed. I slowly open the doors of Central high-school. After I open the door I got different smells,and the same one from in the woods. Misty can't smell like me yet,so she's learning, but slow. I walk down the hall trying to find my locker. "you need help,"a voice ask. "yeah,um do you know where locker number 2,001," I look up. 'um,yes you go up those stairs,and you keep going towards the east stairs and then right next to the stairs you'll find it,and  don't go up the east stairs," she smiled. "thank you and i didn't get your name," I said. "oh I'm Sarah and a sophmore," Sarah said. "well nice to know and and I'm Skylar," I shook her hand. We said goodbyes and I went to my locker. That Sarah girl had a scent like me and Misty.

I grab my notebook and binder and head to class. When I got there, I was little late. "Um miss, you are." The teacher ask. "Um I'm Skylar Torres,and I'm new here so is this science class,"I look in her eyes and saw guilt. "well yes and take a seat next to Alexandra," she pointed to a seat. I sat down and started to write notes when I got the same smell from the woods again. I look up at the door when I smelled it and came in was a boy. "well its nice for you do join us Dereck," Teacher sassed. "well I was busy," Dereck snapped. "Go sit down now," The Teacher demanded. The last few hours went by in a blur,then came lunch. Misty and I ask if we both could have the first lunch together. So I try to smell her out. "Hey Misty over here,"I whispered. She turn and ran over. "come on we're going to the woods," I smirk,she smilled. We both went outside and ran freely into the woods. We stop to smell out the deers. I got one-took forever- and sat down to eat. I tried to teach Misty on how to control the hearing. But it was hard to teach her in a short amount of time. "hey we better started heading back the bell is about to ring," I look at her eating. "ok let me turn back ,"She said. Misty and I started running then turn back into human again. When we got inside the bell rang and when I turn Misty was gone. I walk to my locker and seen Dereck, I wondered what he was. I went to each class as the day carried on and I met some people like: Sarah,Alexandra,Kylie,Ashley most of them wer 10th graders but Ashley was in 9th grade. They ask me if I played basketball and I yes, so now I play for the Indians. The last bell of the day rang and I told my sister that I had to go talk with the coach. About 15 minutes of talking,I left for home. " Sky you want to go to the football game tonight," Misty shyley ask. 'sure why not,'I not smiled at her. I pulled into the gas station and seen some wolves running through the woods. "why are they so close to the street,"she ask. "I don't some packs run differently," I said  I pumped some gas in, then went inside to get something drink and som candy for Misty. I walk out then I seen someone talking to Misty. "hey who are you," I yelled. He turned,"oh the name Tyler and you are," Tyler toneswas mean. "the owner of this car and you don't need to know me and get away from her or I'll rip your throat out with my teeth," I growled. He walk away slowly. I started the car and droved home. It was silent in the car. Then Misty ask, "why did you do that,". "cause he something,but I don't wat it is and I'll find out and till then you stay away from him," I said plainly. "fine,but only becuase your the Alpha and your protecting me,"She look away. We finally got home and Misty ran inside. I wondered what those smells were about at school. So I went inside and did some research on that. It said that to smell another werewolf,is that the scent would be like a wet,dirty dog or boy's dirty socks. Then it said that te scent of a vampires are death,and dried out blood. Also the scent of withes were pumpkins a little. By the time I was done researdhing it was time for the football game. "Come on or we're gonna be late for the game,"Misty yelled. "ok,ok don't rush me," I sighed and shut my laptop. I started the car and drove to the school's football field. When we got there it was already packed and the game haven't started yet. I paid for our tickets and tryed to find a spot to sit. But instead I ran into somtheing hard or. "Oh sorry, I wasn't wacthing were I was going," said a muscler voice. "No its my fault, I was looking down," I looked up. "your new here aren't you ," He ask. "yeah I am and I didn't get a name," I said. "Jacob and you are," Jacob smiled an dit was perkect. "um, it's for others to know and for you to find out,and sorry I got to go," I smiled and walk off.

"So what's that about," Misty ask. " I don't know,but let's just say we can trust him,"I smiled again but more happy. Misty growled. "ok you get to talk to a cute guy and I can't," she snapped. "hey something wrong about that Tyler guy,ok,I can smell it and just wait,"I said. "fine whatever," Misty angerly said. I just ingored her and sat down. This school really good at footall,unlike my other school. So far we were winning.    HOME:51:      VISTORS:6:

2 minutes before the game ended, me amd Misty left, cause well we knew we won by a long shot. I went inside ate dinner and took a shower. Then went to bed.
