Last time

"Y/n, what is your ability?" Arlo asked.

'

'

"My ability?"

"I can only use my ability in high-risk situations, I'm not like you."

"If you know how weak I am, you won't speak to me anymore..."

"Arlo, I have only known you for two days, yet I care about you."

"I don't want you to stop talking to me." 

"Oh god, what did I just say" 

Y/n turned beet red and faced away from Arlo, but Arlo pulled her closer. 

"It's fine Y/n, tell me whenever."

They both left the roof in silence.

*Time skip*

Y/n had missed the rest of the school day while she was with Arlo. She blushed at the thought of being with him.

'He's the king of Wellston, he must be cold and feeling-less' Y/n thought as she watched her reflection in the mirror.

*Time skip - Next day at school*

Y/n makes friends with John, the school cripple ; 

"Hey John want to hang out after school today?"

"Sure, how do you feel about the mall?"

"Okay!"

"I'll pick you up at 5!" John replied.

*Time skip - At the mall with John*

John and Y/n are walking around the mall with no purpose. 

"Hey John"

"Yeah Y/n?"

"You know that Seraphina girl you always talk about?"

"Y-yeah" John says as he blushes,

"Do you like her~"

"UM NO WHY WOULD I THATS HILARIOUS WHY WOULD YOU SAY THAT DIDSOMEONETELLYOUSOMETHI-"

Y/n cut John off, "You totally like her hehe"

"Don't tell her!" John replies, obviously defeated.

"Of course not~! When does she get back?"

"In 2 months and 12 days..."

"Why is she on vacation for so long?" Y/n asks,

"Not vacation, she got in trouble for reading this book, UnOrdinary"

"Oh! The one by William Doe?" Y/n asks excitedly?

"Yeah, how'd you know?"

"Well, I've read it..."

"You should be careful, that book could get you in deep shit! I warned Sera to be careful when she read it."

"Don't worry! I won't read it again anytime soon."

Little did these two know, a infamous blonde had noticed them from a distance...

 Arlo was at the mall with his friends when he noticed Y/n walking around and talking with -- JOHN?! Of all people, John, Arlo knew he was dangerous. Did Y/n like him? He felt something he had never felt about a girl before. 

Jealousy.

*Time skip - at school next day*

Y/n walked in the halls to her classes, all the time, it seemed people were whispering about her. She couldn't hear their words, but when they talked, their eyes darted to her. She continued to walk, now looking down. She was paranoid about their whispers, so she decided to skip second period and walk around the courtyard instead. She noticed a blue haired female standing with her friend close to the door, she gave Y/n a look of disgust, her friend said something to her in a rather panicked voice,

"Elaine! Don't do anything, you'll get us in trouble with him!"

'What are they talking about?' Y/n thought to herself. 

"Who's him?" Y/n thought out loud.

 The blue haired girl looked at Y/n, "She doesn't know" She whispered to her friend.

 Before Y/n had anymore time for questions, the girl, Elaine, and her friend bolted.

'Weird..' Y/n thought.

*Bell rings for 3rd pd.*

Y/n rushed back inside to her third period class, she took her seat, next to John.

During work time, she partnered with John,

"Hey Y/n" John said,

"Yeah?"

"Do you know the king of Wellston?"

"You mean Arlo?" Y/n asked

"So you do know him, that makes a little more sense.."

"What makes sense?" Y/n asked, concerned.

"You don't know?" John laughed,

"Arlo told everyone at school that if they touch you, they'd be sorry. He said that you are his and to not even think of trying their luck with you." John said,

Y/n's heart was beating so fast she thought'd it burst.

"He said what?" she asked in disbelief, 

"He said that if anyone touches yo-"

"JOHN. That was a rhetorical question!"

*Bell rings for 4th pd.*

Y/n blushed to herself, Arlo was protecting her. Y/n walked up to the roof to have lunch, and there she saw him, her blonde prince, Arlo.

"Hey, what are you doing up here again?" Arlo asked.

"J-just having l-lunch.." Y/n was blushing madly,

"You look a little red~" Arlo teased,

"Could I be doing this to you~?" he smirked 

"N-no haha why would you s-say that..."

Arlo started to walk over to Y/n, he pulled her body close to his and locked his gaze on her, he started to blush.

He moved his face closer to her's until their lips were only a centimeter away.
