He looked down at the palm of his hand, where hers had been, he really was serious about her.

N e x t   d a y   a t   s c h o o l

Y/n leaned against her locker, talking to John,

"So Sera's gonna be back in a week.." John smiled,

"Wow, 3 months went by quick" Y/n replied, raising her eyebrows,

"She's crashing at my place for a while" He said laughing,

"Well I can't wait to meet he-" 

Y/n and John went silent as Arlo approached them,

"Hey" He said, looking directly at Y/n,

"H- Hey..." Y/n said looking to the side

John glared at Arlo,

"I'll see you around." Arlo said as he nodded at Y/n,

As soon as Arlo was out of earshot, John was bombarding Y/n with questions and comments,

"I fucking hate that blonde bastard." John whisper-yelled,

"He's not that bad..." Y/n said very very quietly,

"You have to be careful around him." John said,

"What makes you think I'm around him- Not that I am- I'm not-"

Y/n turned around to see John doubling over in laughter, 

"You must be stupid if you didn't think I noticed the tension between you two!" John said choking on his laughter,

"W-What tension!" Y/n said looking down at the floor,

"You know" John coughed,

Y/n was silent,

"Sexual tension" John said as he burst out laughing again,

"Shut up!" Y/n screamed as she turned red,

John was next to her laughing like a five year old,

"So I was right." John smirked,

"I really hate that little bitch." John said watching Arlo from a distance,

After a while Y/n made a smooth topic change,

"So whats the deal with you and all this joker stuff?" She asked, looking up at John,

"Are you serious. How did you know." He asked with a surprised look on his face,

"Are you serious, how could I not know, are you forgetting I know about your ability?" Y/n asked smirking,

John decided he wouldn't tell Y/n what Arlo had done to him, he wanted her to be happy.

"Whatever, it has some stuff to do with my old school, I don't really like to talk about it much." He said with a glum look,

"You should be glad nobody thinks you're a high tier, then I'd have to whoop your ass too." John said laughing,

"Bullshit, I could beat you any day!" Y/n retorted,

"Sure." John rolled his eyes,

*Time skip* - Current pd : in between 4th and 5th

Y/n walked alone in the halls, she was looking at the ceiling, not at all paying attention to her surroundings, so it was no surprise that she bumped into someone, she just didn't expect it to be him, as soon as she averted her gaze from the ceiling, her face flushed red, she tried to quickly walk away. It was too late. Arlo had grabbed Y/n's hand and wasn't letting go.

"Hey again..." He said looking down at her,

"Can we talk later?" Y/n said as she looked around nervously,

"Sure, whatever you want." Arlo replied,

"Meet me at my place at like five, ok?" Y/n said,

"Whatever you want." Arlo said walking away,

Y/n looked around to see a couple of people staring at her,

What was she going to say when she saw him at five?
