Andromeda, you could call her the odd sister out. She wasn't evil or misguided like her sisters but they had labeled her as the worst. She was the blood traitor marrying a muggle born wizard. Her family practically disowned her for it. I say practically because secretly her sister Bellatrix had made sure to be there for her. Bellatrix loved her family, probably the only people she'd ever love besides the dark lord. She could not let her little sister be completely without family. Maybe it was because Andromeda looked like she could be Bellatrix's twin. The older sibling only saw herself when she looked at her sister. A happier version of herself. That was until her death in the second wizarding war. Though they were on opposing sides Bellatrix never wished to harm her sister let alone kill her. Things just escalated and before she could stop herself the killing curse left her wand. She cried, she wailed, she wished for someone to slay her the same way, but that couldn't undo the curse.

The only thing she had left from her sister was the cloak she wore in the battle.. She was wearing the cloak when she ran into her niece. Such a fiery young woman, full of adventure and hope just as her mother had been. Just like her mother she'd fall at the hands of Bellatrix. Nymphadora had attacked Bellatrix very intensely, probably noticing her mother's apparel. Bella didn't know her niece so well but she still felt somewhat guilty.

It was that scene where Hermione saved her life where she dropped her sister's cloak. The only thing she had left to remind her that she wasn't all the way heartless. The only thing that made her feel... normal. She'd risk everything to get her... it back.

It had been too long. Hermione's thoughts poured in with worries for Bellatrix's safety. She entirely regretted leaving the older witch alone. She tried to reason to herself that it was better for Bella to be alone. That way she couldn't be slowed or distracted and would ultimately come back faster. That however didn't seem to be the case as it had been hours since the witch left.

She debated on going back to the castle though the thought felt silly to her. Bellatrix was capable of caring for herself. Yet the loudest thought that echoed in Hermione's mind was that Bellatrix would be dead without her help. If she hadn't inadvertently saved the woman she'd be dead.

" I have to go back. It's probable that she's been caught, I can't just let them have her," Hermione gathered herself and made her way to the door. Her hand was on the handle before the door swung open violently. There stood Bellatrix looking fit as a fiddle with a cloak wrapped in her arms. " Going somewhere muddy?"

Hermione was frozen at this moment. It looked bad on her part, like she was trying to run from Bella when she was actually doing the opposite," I was going to get you." An amused smile sat itself on Bella's lips, " You missed me that much huh."

Hermione was beet red," NO! I mean no I didn't. I was just um worried. I left you quite awhile ago and you had yet to return. So I thought maybe you had been captured and um I was coming to save you." Trying to explain things only made her even more flustered. Bella had a sincere (or however close she could come to it) smile on her face," You needn't worry about me pet. I am very capable of handling myself."

" I am not your pet and last time I checked you'd be dead if it weren't for me," Hermione accidentally blurted out. The smile slid off of Bella's face and eyes twitched in anger. It seemed to Bellatrix that Hermione had forgotten that she was in fact the property of the older witch. " It's so funny when you do things like that pet. You seem to forget that you are mine to control. You only have freedom as long as I let you. I'll call you what I wish and do to you what I like. Are we clear?"

The look in Bellatrix's eyes would've scared Hermione in the past but not any more. She had lived with the witch, been tortured by the witch, kissed the witch, there was nothing more the witch could do to her. " I saved your life. You should at least treat me with some sort of hospitality. Talk to me like you're grateful that I happened to spare your pathetic life-"

Hermione didn't have a second to breathe as Bellatrix's hands found their way to her neck. The older witch was fairly strong, lifting the gryffindor into the air. Her eyes seemed darker, filled with anger. She loved seeing the frightened look on Hermione's face. " I just told you not to address me in that manner. Did I not? Didn't I just warn you pet? You are mine and I'll do whatever I want to you. I will treat you how I want, I will talk to you how I want, and I will punish you when you disobey"

This is the exact reaction Hermione wanted. She wanted to push Bella to the edge, she wanted her to be mad, she wanted to feel Bella's scorn. Hermione wanted Bella to be so furious that she'd lose control. She probably could've asked but her pride wouldn't let her. She wanted Bellatrix and there's nothing she could do about to stop her impulses.
