The wedding

It is the day of the wedding and everything is as it is supposed to be. The massive shopping list has been filled and the venues are ready. The guards are polishing their leather metal gear and blacking their boots. The chefs are starting to prepare the food and YN's deputies are pinning their medals to their uniforms. They are also preparing their gifts for YN and Emily.

The guests arrive at the cathedral by staff car and they quickly go inside. There is the typical noise of people talking over each other and all that stops when they hear a trumpeter and they see YN march up with Benedict as the ring bearer and Speer his best man. They then go to the altar with a bishop already waiting. Ten Imperial Eagle Knights are guarding the altar. They look with intent as they gaze upon YN. Then, Emily walks in with a host of sisters of battle as her guard. The music that drifts through the halls is provided by the three hundred and thirty second and four hundred and sixty-seventh Imperial musical units, a chorus of Krieg Guardsmen (for some reason they have beautiful singing voices), and the three thousand pipe organ that they had installed.

Emily goes up to the altar and stands opposite to YN. The bishop then starts the ceremony and the room goes to a hush.

Bishop: We are joined here today to witness the union of Emperor YN LN and Empress Emily Windsor. (Insert everything until the vows part). Do you, YN LN , take thee, Emily Windsor, to be your lawfully wedded wife, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death do us part, according to your holy ordinance; and thereto pledge thyself to Emily Windsor?

YN: I do.

Bishop: And do you, Emily Windsor, take thee, YN LN, to be your lawfully wedded husband, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death do us part, according to your holy ordinance; and thereto pledge thyself my faith [or] pledge myself to you."

Emily: I do.

Bishop: Then by the power vested in me by you, I hereby pronounce you husband and Wife. You may now kiss the bride.

The musicians then play the Imperial anthem as they walk out the door showered by confetti. As soon as they go outside they are greeted by the tanks firing a one hundred gun salute and the cheers of their citizens. The tanks then roar to life as they drive down the parade ground in perfect formation while the Guardsmen march behind them. The bells of the cathedral ring and the Imperial Air Force conduct a flypast of over a hundred planes. And all the anti-aircraft guns fire into the sky in salute. YN simply helps Emily into the open-topped staff car as they are driven along the parade route. They are flanked by two armored cars, Custodes, and Imperial Eagle Knights.

The guests then get into other staff cars and they are transported to the Eastern Hall of the White Palace where the newly married couple would receive their guests.

The throne is flanked by Imperial Eagle Knights, Inquisitorial Guards, and Psychic Commandos. The guests line either side of the red carpet and they watch the citizens of Hisilburg walk down the carpet to present their gifts to the Imperial couple. After the citizens, the guard units present their gifts.

They include gilded weapons and armor, furniture and the like. RWBY, JNPR, Coco, and Velvet went next. They presented him with a painted portrait of YN in full battle plate on his throne with Erika sitting at his feet. The members of the inner circle then present their gifts. Grey gives them a more efficient surveillance state. Moss and Heisser give them a Solitas, Vale, and Vacuo free of heretics and traitors. Gangle gives them a more eco-friendly and efficient industrial and bureaucratic system. Speer gives them the biggest gift, the completed city of Saiangrad. It takes up thirty square miles and it is ready for citizens. He also constructed a palace for the Imperial family, coincidentally it is next to his own. Yeah, coincidence.

YN smiles and stands up and puts his hand on Speer's shoulder and gives him a back pat.

YN: Even though this is a gift you will still be decorated for your service, all of you will be decorated for your service.

Speer: (bows) Thank you, your majesty.

The other members of the inner circle then bow and thank YN.

They then go to the eastern dining hall and then they cut the cake. As I mentioned earlier it is a beautiful cake, almost too good to eat, almost. It is a beautiful, ten-tier wedding cake. It has alternating layers of chocolate, vanilla, and red velvet with a thick coating of white icing on each of them. Double-headed eagles made out of sugar adorn the cake with gingerbread men decorated like Imperial saints towards the top, Astaties towards the middle, and guardsmen at the bottom. YN especially likes the gingerbread Krieg Guardsmen.

Anyway, they have a wonderful meal and they conclude the celebration with fireworks, music, and military parades. The Air Force conducted twelve fly pasts in total and thirty fighter planes carried out a mock dogfight for the entertainment of everyone. Bombers flew overhead and released their cargo of confetti. Biodegradable confetti of course. The Andromeda entered low orbit and fired a salute.

But among all this happiness, an evil entity is coming to the surface.
