Chapter Sixteen

Eren's POV

I am home alone with Jordan and Josette for the next 7 hours. The first 4 hours go by fast because we played the who can sleep the longest game. Josie won.

We played with baby toys for the last three hours and Levi should be home in about 15 minutes.

I heard something in the kitchen. "Baby you home?" I yelled. Then everything went quiet. " Babe? " I yelled again, putting the twins in their cribs and see who it was.

Nobody was in there so I came back to the living room. Both babies had big cribs so I put Jordan on with Josie and let them play with blocks together.

I then heard whispering and thumping like multiple people were in the house. I quickly ran to the kitchen and got a knife and came back, pushed the crib to the wall and guarded it with my life.

"Eren...just give us the children and make this a whole lot easier." Someone said. Was that. ..Reiner?

"Who is there?" I said shaking a bit. Then Annie came out and eyed me. He eyes were saying sorry, but I ignored it. Bertholdt and Reiner came out.

"Listen, you have titan genes, that's why you can have children. And if your children have the gene too, it could be dangerous." Reiner said.

" we just want to check if they do. " he went on. "You stay the hell away from my children!" I said with spread and fury. Where are you Levi! I thought

"Annie, Bertholdt" Reiner said. Bertholdt moved slowly and Annie with major hesitation. "N-no! Stay away from them!" I yelled. Reiner charged at me, I jabbed the knife but missed and he grabbed me and pinned me down.

" NO! STOP! DON'T TOUCH THEM! PLEASE!! Please! " I screamed as the each picked up my babies. "Wha-what if they don't have the gene?" I asked.

"We take them... " Reiner said. "And if they do?!" I asked crying loudly. " Listen they are ours either way, there is nothing you can do about it. " he said honestly.

"Nooo!" I yelled struggling to get away. I was hyperventilating and crying. The babies were crying loudly and Annie and Bertholdt were trying to calm them.

I felt a little dizzy and looked down. Then blacked out.

I woke up in my bed. I looked all around. The babies were gone. I started sobbing hysterically and couldn't breath. I feel like dying right now. Levi came running in and tried to sooth me.

He tried to talk to me but I blocked him with my crying. He tried to get me to stand but I fell to the floor. "Its okay they are fine!* He yelled. Still crying I was confused.

" W-what!! " I shouted.  My legs still felt like jelly but I pushed through it.

As soon as I saw my babies playing with blocks in the floor, I grabbed them both and hugged the shit out of them.

"Oh my babies!" I held on to them, not to tight, but I never wanted to let them go.

" What happened? " I asked Levi.

"I was on my way home, and when I came inside, the babies were screaming, Bertholdt and Annie were holding them and you were unconscious. Annie put Jordan down and attacked Reiner while I got Josette to safety and got Bertholdt." He said.

So it wasn't Annie's fault, just as I thought. "Where are they now?" I asked so many questions. " Annie put Bertholdt away, hanging from a tree about 15 minutes away from here and Annie also got Reiner and put him in a garbage truck that was headed far away" he told me.

"Okay" I said smiling and kissing my children's heads. "Okay?" Levi asked. " Yeah...okay.. " he came and say down next to me and wrapped his arms around me, Jordan and Josie.

This chapter was a tiny bit intense but I wanted to add some more action to it and there will be more action in the future, but there isn't much left for this part. There is a big gap between this time and Eren and Levi's wedding so if you have just the smallest idea, leave what you have in the comments and I will be sure to read them.
