Growing up Ora had all she needed, the love, the attention, the toys, she was Daddies girl so she was a princess in her own small world.
Only two people existed for Ora, her Dad and sometimes her mom.
She didn't need friends because she found all the friends she needed in her Father. Ora knew how to impress him, academically and every wise, she had all his love, felt like she was competing with her Mother. He taught Ora games which she later beats him at, songs which she sang better than him. They had all the fun they needed, they told each other stories, he told her about growing up as a child, all the naughty things he did and how he always got into trouble.
Ora loved her Father so much, she would do whatever he wanted her to do, sometimes when he falls ill, she'll be by his bed side attending to him like a doctor, singing to him, feeding him or making her own drug for him. one time he was so sick, and grinded tomatoes, kolanut and bitterleaf and asked him to drink it, it wasn't the remedy to his sickness, but she saw the glint of pride in his eyes that she made an attempt to help him.
They were inseparable, she knew what to do to comfort him, he knew how to appease her.
Over the years She grew into a beautiful lass, and if she wasn't reading she was at her Father's feet.Ora wasn't oblivious to the world though, she just didn't pay attention to it, her Father was the world to her. She was proud he was her Father, she thought he was stronger than any man ever, she believed in him so much, she could jump from a cliff if he told her to.
Her Mother on the other hand was an enemy to Ora, Ora hated all the extra chores her mother gave her, she didn't like the times her Father would offer her candy and her mother will seize it, she didn't like when she and her Dad were doing something interesting and her mother would interrupt.
Although they were times when they'll laugh together, Ora wasn't really interested in her Mother, she sometimes saw her as a rival and wanted to just chase her out of the room. There was a time Ora had a fight with her mother about combing her hair, and her Father supported her mother, she cried that night to sleep and refused to talk to her Father.
Although she wasn't very fond of her mother, Ora loved her parents though one she loved more, they were everything she needed in the world.
