Ora had woken up one morning feeling down, 'must be lack of sleep' she thought. Soon she got ready for school and took off hoping the day turns out great eventually.

It was third period and she realized she still didn't feel elated, even though she tried to concentrate she couldn't, even though English language was her favourite subject. It was in that period that another teacher walked into the class and whispered into her English teacher ears, Ora heard her name and looked up to see her English teacher bidding her up to follow the other teacher.

Ora stepped out of her class room with trembling legs, she knew she was probably in trouble, everyone knew that once you're being called in the middle of your lessons, it's to the principals office, and no student gets invited to the principals office if he/She didn't commit an offence.

'The principal will see you now dear' She heard the teacher say, that's when she realized she was lost in thoughts and didn't know when they got there.
She knocked on the door, 'come in' she heard his deep voice say, Ora's heart was jumping, she didn't know what she had done and that scared her.

She walked in and saw the prinicipal, another chair scrapped beside her and she turned around to see Uncle Phil stretching his hand to hug her, and it felt strange.

Uncle Phil and Ora didn't really communicate, conversation between them was always formal, and now he was hugging her that was new for Ora.
The principal looked at her and smiled mildly, her mind was not at rest, why was he smiling at her Mr Ottis never smiles.

Ora was still trying to figure out what went off when the prinicipal cleared his throat and spoke,'Sit down' he instructed. 'I know life is full of expectations' he began, 'but I want you to know that sometimes expectations hurts, but I trust you to overcome and make good choices'. Ora was confused, what he was saying didn't make sense to her.
Before she could speak, there was a knock on the door and a teacher walked in with her backpack and all her books in it, the teacher handed it to her and she looked up confused.

What's happening Ora asked, am I expelled, did I do something, please I didn't do anything wrong she began to panic. What will her father think of her if he heard she was involved in something and was expelled or suspended, he would be so disappointed and she couldn't do that to him.
Uncle Phil spoke first 'No Ora, none of that your father asked to see you and that's why I've come to ask for the principals permission to take you'.

Ora felt relieved at the mention of her Father she remembered he hadn't called nor texted her today. 'Is everything alright with my father?' she asked. Uncle Phil only nodded, and the principal avoided her eyes.
