"Very funny"

We had landed the next day,very early in the morning,my shoulder were stiff,and my eyes were wide open,the flight had been awful,my sitting partner was a snoring freak and he usually drooled on me .Let's not forget the air hostess who served me spoiled sea food,ever since that spoiled meal I hadn't eaten a thing,my taste buds were groaning and almost dead,my foot was always tapping and twisting,I just couldn't stay still,I couldn't wait for my new start .As soon as the plane landed,I carried my bags and retrieved my suitcases .

The atmosphere was pretty sunny when I walked out,the parking lot was stuffy,too many cars and drivers and shouting.
I heard names like :

"Talia".

"Diana".

"Alicia".

But none were my names,I looked around with my eyes,roaming all over,I searched everywhere but didn't find anyone who had a cardboard with my name spelt on it .
Until my eyes caught something,a chauffeur wearing pink shirt and trousers,he had a cupid arrow hanged in his back like a purse and he wore light makeup, he looked so silly and from the way the others looked at him am sure they thought the same thing .I looked at his hands,he had rose in one hand and a cardboard in the other,the cardboard said ATTRACTION.
I covered my face in shame,I couldn't believe Leo and Ron would do this to me,they have made me a laughing stock .I waved the chauffeur as he smiled and walked up to me.

"You must be attraction". The chauffeur said.

"Yes I am". I told him and he laughed.

"Your friends told me to pick you up dressed like this". He pointed to his horrible outfit.

"Just take me to an hotel,I can't stand being a joke". I said as I gave him my suitcases and entered the black Ford,at least they picked the right car.

The drive to an hotel was peaceful, we stopped at a lot of hotels but all had something that turned me of,whether it be the rude receptionist,or the crowded lobby,the over excited managers,and the creepy black coloured walls,something was always wrong,or was it just me being pessimistic as always.

"Madam I know a place". That's what the chauffeur has been saying for the past one hour, surprisingly he still knows a place.

"Take me there".I said for the umpteenth time,although I had a feeling this might be the last time I'll say it.

And to my relief the place was beautiful,the marble floor were scrubbed and glittering,the wall were beige but had a rich essence to it,and if I thought I couldn't be more impressed I was in for something, the receptionist was a real deal.

"Hi Samantha,how nice to see you here".I said to my long time friend,who also happens to be the manager of the hotel.

"Ohmigosh,Juliana is that you,I can't believe it". She said with her eyes wide.

"Well you better believe it,because I am going to be staying here for a while". I told her as she hugs me.

"Then I am going to make sure you have the time of your life". She said with a wink.

"Wait what are you doing in Washington DC anyway". She asked and I walk away.

My room was fabulous,beautiful, exquisite,words could describe how amazing it was,but that wasn't what I wanted,I wanted a room that couldn't be described with words,oh well,I guess you can't expect too much from an hotel room.

I dropped my suitcases,paid the chauffeur an extra tip from all the stress I put him through,lastly I crashed on the big,soft,white sheeted bed and immediately I fell asleep.

My nap lasted for about three hours,I knew because I checked the time,but there was something wrong,the lights were on,I remember clearly shutting it off before I slept,strange .I stood up from the bed and looked around me,everything looked normal,my suitcases were where I kept them,my wrist watch was on the drawers,then what am I missing .Suddenly a shadow passed me,I hoped it was just one of my silly imaginations,but imaginations don't have shadows, imaginations can make sound,or can they.
