The first thing I noticed about the figure before me was his hat that almost covered his eyes, and the thick glasses that almost reached his nose,I mean who wears hats anyway,he had a black coat on hiding his linen back shirt neatly tucked in his black trousers, did he just come back from a burial or something .

He hadn't yet shown his face though he was still walking to us when I turned my head back to Marion.

"Deep breaths". Marion said more to himself than me .

Finally the black coat dude approached us and embraced his father.

"Hello Dad". He said with a velvety voice,or it could have just been the crowd around me playing with my listening ability.

"Hello son,you finally came to see your old man after so many years". Marion said as they pulled apart from each other.

They sat down and continued their stupid chat, and just when I thought I had enough, the black coat dude pulled off his hat, only giving me a side face to look at since he was looking directly at his father .The only thing I could decipher was his light stubble, and from the looks of it, it was taking good care of.
This felt strange,I felt strange, let's not forget invisible, I felt so invisible and somewhere at the back of my mind,I really wanted to run away.

Soon Marion concluded the conversation and looked at me .
This was it, this was it,why was my heart beating so fast.

"Son,let me introduce you to a very special Lady of mine". Marion that cheap fox pointed to me and finally the black coat dude turned to look at me .
Oh boy,I was sweating profusely,Marion was so right, the black coat dude was his replica, ohmigosh.

Time flew by and we just gazed at each other, his brown eyes poked my heart and tugged at my chest,I felt like blowing my flushed face with an hand fan.

He narrowed his eye at me and with his velvety voice said "And you are". He asked.

I blinked mainly because that wasn't what I was expecting,I expected a smile at least but all I was getting was a frown.

"Juliana Hardin". I told him and he only frowned more,is there something wrong with my name.

"Dad is she your mistress". He asked his shocked father, what the heck is wrong with this guy.

"No,she's a friend son".Marion smiled at his foolish son while I sat awkwardly sipping a glass of water, where's whiskey when you need it.

"I see". Marion's son said as he looked at me, and for a second there I think I blushed.

"Sorry about that,I am Adrian Amarillo". He said blankly and we shook hands.

"Nice to meet you Adrian". I said and he nodded.

What a proud idiot, he couldn't even say it back.

"So what shall we order". Marion said trying to lighten the mood.

He summoned the waiter while Mr Adrian asked for nothing but salad,I on the other hand was too occupied in my thoughts to even care about food .Marion looked disturbed,he noticed my expression, and honestly it wasn't good, his son hadn't exactly made a good impression, and from the way he was eating his salad peacefully,am sure he didn't even care.

"Juliana you know Adrian just topped one of the world's youngest tycoon". Marion said proudly and I rolled my eyes.

"Am sure they didn't check the age probably".I blurted without thinking and that earned me a glare from Marion,Adrian though just renamed quiet.

"Juliana and her jokes". Marion laughed nervously and I smirked.

"What do you think of Washington DC so far Adrian". Marion asked.
