The air was gloomy and bland, the atmosphere damped, the crowd sited and the grasses still,if I didn't know well I would think the universe were against me,I looked around my horrid environment,an open space filled with people from different works of life,I even had a lady sited with me and God did she like to talk, she had me in a conversation for almost two hours all whilst the ceremony went on,those two hours felt like centuries and the worst thing was she hadn't stop talking.

"Dear you need a partner,at your age I had five kids".she said, well good for you,I thought as I looked at her wrinkled face and her aging smile.

I looked up to the sun and used one hand to shield my face from the burning, not because the sun was hot,I just needed a distraction away from this woman, the priest was still talking and people bickering but all I wanted was to be over with this already.

"Why don't you say something dear, you see my daughter is around your age and she's married". She continued as I rolled my eyes, can this woman just shut up,probably not with the way I see things going .I mean how can someone enjoy a one sided conversation its annoying really.

I tapped my feet on the ground to avoid groaning loudly,my hands itched to drag my hair out in frustration,if I didn't come here for a reason I would have probably shut this woman up,please shut up,please shut up,I begged in my heart as her voice grew louder and louder, I couldn't take it anymore, this was torture, pure torture,I glanced at my right side to seek support but all I saw was an even older woman, and with the way her glasses were hanging on her nose I knew she was a witch,so I turned my head and looked down,I ran my palm all over my face, just calm down, she probably has few more years to live, don't let her bother you, calm down, calm down .

"My first child even has a grandson"she said proudly as she looked at me with her blue eyes.

"Oh would you just shut up already". I yelled as people turned to look at my sudden outburst,my anger was radiating off my veins and I could feel my heart beat faster.

"Why don't you kill someone else with your conversation". I yelled again and watched the woman's shocked face .Sure she wasn't expecting me to speak like that, hell I wasn't even expecting me to speak like that either, but what's a girl to do.

"How dare you speak to me like that, don't you have any manners". She asked me intently.

"I sold them long time ago and I was hoping you would lend me yours". I said with a smile, but with the way her mouth curved downwards am guessing she wasn't very pleased at my attempt to joke.

"Your mother probably didn't teach you how to talk to elders like my self". She commented with a scowl.

"Well she certainly didn't teach me how to deal with old hags like yourself so I'm improvising". I smiled at her again.

"You....you". She pointed her bony finger at me while everyone watched our little scene.

"If that's all you're going to say then its better I just ignore you". I told her as I focused on the stage, ignoring her flushed state .Finally some peace and quiet.

Boom....

Or not.

At first I thought it was my flimsy imagination getting the best of me,but when I saw the crowd running in no direction and the priest jumping from the stage leaving the casket behind then I knew things were serious .I looked to the Smokey sky as fire rummaged the environment, what could have happened.
My legs didn't want to run, my feet stood still and waited until I was bumped into by a very young infant causing him to fall down.
