XXXXXI - "Tired"

Liam had dropped off all of Kai's current files since I wanted him to be occupied with his gang. Kai started awhile ago which is why the house is now more quiet than it usually is, which I'm glad about.

"What to wear, what to wear," I say as I look through my closet. Even though I'm going to England just for a day, I also want to look good during my meeting. Kai apparently has a meeting him self so we'll be in two separate places at the time, which he was reluctant about.

"I can change the schedule so I can be with you," Kai yelled from the bed.

"Kai Finnels if you do such a thing I will bury you alive," I snap back. I heard a loud obnoxious groan leave his mouth and I giggled.

It's cute how clingy Kai is, but sometimes he's clingy at the wrong time. Like how I'm just going to be in England for a day, a day! And he considered ditching work just to be with me. It's like he doesn't care about his gang at all, and that may be a bad thing. But even though Kai knows he can't be in the room with me, he still wants to come with. It'll probably be a two hour meeting and he plans to stay with me? The fuck...

Our flight leaves in two hours so I'm already deciding on what to wear, and plus, I may be able to do a little shopping while we're there. At the thought of shopping an idea came to mind and I immediately had a new personal mission: get Kai to wear color.

I mentally squealed and grabbed some shorts and a tank top for the flight, and an extra outfit for my meeting tomorrow. I walked into the bathroom to take a shower and I thought about what could happen during the meeting. Juga was a famous fashion designer and is part of our legal businesses, so there's no need for a grey jacket and a mask. Which reminds me, I have to stop by the base sometime this week to talk to one of our hostages, privately.

I walked out of the bathroom and Kai's gaze immediately went towards my body. He gawked at my outfit and quickly snapped out of his daze at my exposed skin.

"You're not wearing that to your goddamn meeting Diamonds," he growled.

I rolled my eyes, "Of course not, it's for the flight dummy."

Kai stood up from his position and started stalking towards me, "What did I tell you about rolling your fucking eyes Diamonds?"

I visibly gulped at the realization of what I had just done, and before I knew it, my back was pressed up against the wall, "S-Sorry," I whispered.

His hand enclosed itself around my neck and his lips brushed my ear, "Don't do it again," he growled threatenly.

I nodded my head frantically and went to my closet as Kai went to the bathroom to get ready. I pulled on my black slipon vans and grabbed a white hoodie just in case it gets cold.

As I'm about to leave Kai walks into the closet holding onto his towel that's wrapped around his waist. I wanted to move but I couldn't, his beautifully chiseled abs and his gorgeous tattoos that made every girl drool. His wet brown hair that dripped water and covered his eyes, those beautiful ocean eyes. His v-line was exposed perfectly and I just wanted him to drop his towel and take me right there, but let's not get too ahead of ourselves now.

"Like what you see princess?" He smirked. I gulped visibly and rushed out of the closet for him to change because God knows what I'd do to him if I stayed there any longer.

My watch vibrates and I answer the phone call.

"Hello?"

"Diamonds, we're on our way. Be ready in 10 minutes please," Richard said on the other line.

"Got it dude," I say and I hang up.

"Who was that?" I turn around to see Kai in an all black outfit of sweatpants and a tee shirt but with white shoes.
