Dear Seokjin,
"I haven't seen you in weeks. What's been happening with you?"

"Nothing. I'm just a bit sick, that's all."

I knew it was something worse than that, but I decided to leave it for now. I didn't have anything else to say. I just wanted to look at you, really.

Until you said something.

"Why did you come here?"

"I just told you. To keep you company."

"But seriously. Why? Why did you waste your time to come here... for me?"

"I think you're special." I admitted, heaving a sigh. "And I've always thought that."

"Why?"

"I don't know, do I need a reason?"

There was a pause. I could see the smile on your face grow larger. You opened your mouth, but closed it again soon after.

"I guess you're right."

I still had my palm sitting on your cheek. You let your own hand rest on top, and slowly your fingers slid in between mine. I let go of your cheek and let our hands rest on the rough hospital blanket.

I could feel the blood rush to my cheeks. I felt so nervous again, I wanted to retract my hand just so I wouldn't embarrass myself.

"Hey, keep your hand there. I liked that." You mumbled quietly.

"Why?"

"Do I need a reason?"

I giggled. "I guess you're right."
