Mind Of a Maniac

Chapter 2

BEEEEPPPP the alarm blares and I get up not excited for this dreadful day. I'm sick of waking up at 5am every fucking day so i'm glad that starting today I am only have 2 more years of highschool  and will soon be done with this school shit. I shower throw on some blue ripped jeans with black leggings under it, a white tank top and a red off the shoulder sweater with black vans. My hair is curly because I took it out the braids this morning and I eat a apple before leaving for school.

I take a uber there and when I arrive I stare at the building for a second before walking in. I keep my earbuds in to avoid talking to anyone. I have all my papers and a school map so I know where I am supposed to go. I almost made it through the hallway without talking to anyone but then someone tapped me. It was the Principal. "Hey I'm Ms.Caroline I just wanted to make sure that you were finding everything well". "Oh i'm fine" I smile. Not much happened that day it was just a normal day in school. I didn't talk to anyone though.

Down the street from my school I found out there was a corner store so I went there. I grabbed a bag of doritos and a arizona. I walk up to the clerk and dig in my pant pockets to find that my money is missing. "Oh shit" I mutter. "You dropped this", Melly pops out of nowhere and hands me my money that he is holding in between two of his fingers. "Thank you" I take the money and pay for my snacks".

I begin to walk home and I can feel his presence behind me. I felt like he was following me and I was gonna say something but then I remembered he lived across the street from me. A week goes by and every day after school I go to the store and Melly is there. This trip at the store I ended up knocking something over and he helped me pick it up. ¨You work here or sum¨ I say picking up some items I knocked over. ¨Nah¨ Melly says. ¨Then why are you always here I stand up and raise my eyebrows, it seems to me like you are stalking me¨. He just stares. ¨You go to Gifford high¨ he asks. I nod my head yes,¨and you are supposed to be there too they call your name everyday in attendance, ¨Mr. Demons¨ I laugh. ¨Shut up¨ he nudges me and sucks his teeth. ¨Thanks for helping me¨ I smile ¨I guess I will see you around¨. He stares at me a while before giving me a big ass creepy smile. I nod my head then start walking home.
