I'm woken up in the middle of the night oh by knocking on my window. I slowly rub my eyes and open the window.
"Wasssuuupp"!
"Melly hush"! I pull him through the window. "You know my momma asleep in her room.
"When you get off punishment" he kicks his sneakers off.
"Two days, but it will be extended if she catches you in my room nigga".
"Mtch she ain't gon' catch nothing" he gets on top of me and kisses me.
*that morning*
The sun shines through the window, birds chirp as I play with Melly's ear, his head in my chest.
"Babbyyy" I say softly. "You gotta wake up, you gotta go home".
"Mtch Ion wanna leave" he turns his head.
"Yeah well ion wanna get in trouble".
"You practically 18 she can't really tell you what to do no more".
"When i'm under her roof I gotta follow her rules Melly".
"Then stay with me".
"Huh"?
"Come stay wit me" he sits up.
"Are you for real"?
"Yeah.. I wanna take care of you".
"Awe babyyy" I kiss him.
*Gasp* "NIKIAH AMEILLA THOMPSON"!!!!! my mother screams.
"Shit".
"SIR GET OUT NOW"!.
"I will" he stands up and puts his shirt on "but Nikiah coming with me".
"Is that true" she looks at me.
It's quiet for a moment. I stare at him then her then back at him.
"Y- yeah it's true".
A huge smile comes across Melly's face.
"UHHH I THINK TF NOT"! my mom screams. "You think you grown"?!?!.
I grab a backpack and start placing clothes and other items in the bag.
"Melly" she puts his hand on her shoulder "I really love some of your music, but you will not be taking my daughter no fucking where she will not be dating or living with no fucking thug"!
"MAAA", I'm not such a little girl anymore! You tell me all the time you can't chose who you love".
"Little girl"!
"I'm. Not. Little". "See mommy I know you wanted me to date someone like a doctor.. but I like HOOD NIGGAS"!
"What the fuck"!
"I like riding in nice cars, i like measuring putting stuff in the baggies, tieing them into little knots".
"NIKIAH"!!
"And you can't even front.. you like them too my dad was a drug dealer".
An awkward silence fills the room.
