~Emi's POV~

"Laundry!" I woke in a panic after having a dream where I'd somehow been shrunken down in size and ran through a washing machine. As I sat up, I realized I was tucked into bed, but I didn't remember putting myself to bed. I wasn't in my pajamas; All Might must have put me to bed after our long day yesterday. I faintly remembered him carrying me to bed but it was a little fuzzy.

My heart dropped as I realized I hadn't done the laundry yesterday, I had to finish the laundry otherwise I wasn't doing my job, which would be an inconvenience to All Might. I scrambled out of bed in a hurry and moved quickly toward the door. A quick glance over my shoulder at my glow in the dark alarm clock told me it was just shy of five in the morning. All Might would be waking up soon for his morning training. I had to hurry!

As quickly and quietly as I could, I pulled open my door and bolted out of my room. My foot collided into something solid and I let out a muted yelp as I nosedived toward the floor. The door across the hall opened and, in the next instant, strong arms encircled me catching me before I could smack face first into the floor. My heart started to race erratically in my chest as I found myself being held tightly against a taut torso.

"Emi, are you alright?" All Might asked worried.

My entire body was consumed by the flames of embarrassment as I realized he was shirtless and I found myself being pressed against his naked torso. I managed a nod, incapable of speech. All Might gently set me on my feet and placed a firm hand on my shoulder to steady me as I swayed a little, mostly from embarrassment and my desperate need to look anywhere but at him.

I bowed my head hiding my bright red face behind my ashen brown hair, "I-I'm sorry, I didn't mean to wake you."

"I was already awake," he reassured me with a smile. His smile turned somewhat sheepish and he looked momentarily guilty, "I should be the one apologizing. It's my fault you tripped."

At his admission of guilt, I chanced a glance at what had felled me and spotted a laundry basket with a neat stack of my freshly cleaned laundry. He did my laundry? I wasn't doing my job properly and he felt like he had to step in to help even though he already had so much on his plate. He was the number one hero and it was my job to make his home life easier and here he was doing MY laundry.

"I'm really sorry, Toshinori." I bowed my head lower feeling sick with guilt for inconveniencing him, "I'll try not to be a burden agai-." I cut off with a squeak as he caught me by the chin and tilted my face upward, forcing me to meet his gaze.

"You have nothing to apologize for, you've done so much to help me out, I thought it was the least I could do." He smiled. My heart fluttered in my chest.

"Thank you." I responded meekly as I nervously shuffled my feet only to glance down as I felt a slight twinge of pain in my ankle. There was already a bruise forming where I had kicked the laundry basket.

All Might followed my gaze and a frown tugged at the corner of his lips. Guilt flooded his bright blue eyes as he noticed the bruise forming on my ankle. "Perhaps we should put some ice on that."

I blushed and tucked my bruised ankle behind my other foot trying to hide it from view, "that's really not necessary, it's just a bruise."

"Are you sure it's alright?"

I nodded.

All Might smiled and gave me a gentle pat on the head before stooping down to pick up the laundry basket that had tripped me. He carried it into my room and set it atop my dresser, out of the way. He left with a chuckle as he realized my face was still bright red and I was trying my hardest not to look in his direction at his naked torso rippling with muscles.
