Leaning against the railings on the balcony, Alex watched as the clouds passed over the city of New Orleans, her final moments in the city slowly ticking by, days had passed since the events of the Hallow, and there she was preparing to leave yet again, but this time she was taking Elijah with her, and he had no say in the situation, the soft jazz music filled the steers below and a soft wind blew through the city, everything seemed to be at peace.

"I don't mean to disturb you, but I wish to thank you before you leave for your trip," Klaus says as he sipped out onto the balcony, he leans over the railing and turned his gaze to her, she lowers her gaze from the sky to look at him. "Thank you for saving my daughter again, and taking a risk."

"We all know that she would have died if I didn't," Alex says. "But now we have a bright future ahead of us." Her gaze returns to the sky as the wind begins to pick up. "The witch is dead and everything is once again as it should be."

"At least for now," Klaus adds on causing a smile to tug at the corners of her lips.

"For now," Alex confirms, she sucks in a deep breath as she closed her eyes feeling the rays of the sun shining down on her skin.

"If you do not mind me asking, where are you taking my brother?" Klaus asks.

"I don't know yet," Alex says before opening her eyes, she takes a step back from the railings. "We'll be travelling until I find a place that I like, and settle down."

"You like?" Klaus asks as a smile tugged at his lips. "Will he not be assisting?"

"He has no say in the matter," Alex says.

"Not that he will protest," Klaus says. "I hope you plan on sending postcards and your final destination." She nods her head and pushes some of her hair out her face.

"I will as soon as we're settled," Alex says, Klaus moves away from the railing and turns his body towards her.

"Before you set off on your journey, would you mind doing me a favour?" Klaus asks. "I realize that I am in no position to ask for favours." Elijah steps towards the balcony in search for Alex, he had gathered everything that he wanted to take with him and was ready to leave his family behind for her.

"I can't do what you're about to ask me," Alex says, Klaus's shoulders fell at her words.

"Rebekah was ecstatic about her gift, she could not stop crying and thanking her," Elijah says as he moves behind Alex, he wraps his arms around her from behind and placed his head on her shoulder.

"It's her dream to start a family of her own, I've been discussing it with Elijah before the Hallow even became a problem," Alex says, Klaus's mood instantly lifted as he heard. "I trust you're prepared to buy gifts for her future children?" Elijah chuckles softly before placing a soft kiss against the skin underneath her ear.

"I believe he is prepared," Elijah says. "I am prepared as well, are you ready to leave?" Alex nods her head.

"Yes, just let me retrieve my things and we can be on our way," Alex says, Elijah nods his head and Alex moves away from his grasp and went inside while Elijah steps towards his brother.

"Don't lose her brother," Klaus says. "Don't hurt her, Cherish her."

"I do not plan on losing her again, brother," Elijah says. "I believe four times was enough."

"So..." Klaus begins. "How did Rebekah react to her gift?"

"Rebekah!" Alex loudly says as she rushes towards the stairs. "I have something to give you before I leave." Rebekah stops in her steps and turns to look at Alex, watching her practically fly down the stairs.

"You don't have to give me anything, if anyone here has to give a gift to anyone, it should be us giving you a gift," Rebekah says. "You risked your life for our niece."

"I want to give this to you, you deserve this," Alex says as she approaches the blonde vampire. "I know how much you've been dreaming to have a family of your own, to conceive a child of your own." Alex comes to a halt a few steps away from Rebekah.

"But that is impossible," Rebekah whispers as she was once again hit with the reality of her situation. "I would have to be human." Alex quickly took hold of Rebekah's hands, a golden light begins to spread up Rebekah's arm.

"You don't have to be human to be fertile," Alex says. "You can be a vampire and still have a family of your own." The golden light slowly spreads through Rebekah's body. "And if you wish to be human, I'm only one call away, all right?" Alex releases Rebekah's hands, Rebekah's eyes widen in shock.

"You mean to tell me..." Rebekah begins as she placed her hands over her stomach. "You're saying I can become pregnant, with my own children?"

"That is what I'm saying," Alex says before being pulled into a strong hug, If Alex was still human she would have been instantly crushed.

"Thank you, thank you," Rebekah says as her eyes become glossy with tears. "I will forever be your debt."
