Escape, fight and baby arrival

Running from the Indoraptor was not easy for me. We hid from it for a short time until somehow the lights came back on. Maisie screamed causing it to break the glass, having tree's and things fall on us. Claire got Maisie free, I try to move but the Indoraptor looks straight at me just as a wave of contractions hits me. I whine and scream believing it's gonna eat me. It follows after Maisie instead.

"Y/N. Hey look at me. Eyes on me!"

I'm disoriented until I see Owen in front of me on his knees ordering me to pay attention to him. Claire sits next to me.

"Owen...you have to go save Maisie....ah!" I wince in pain from a strong contraction.

Owen fires back squeezing my shoulders gently. "I'm not leaving you here, you could have the baby any minute!"

I understand his worry but the Indoraptor could kill us all. Claire speaks up "I'll make sure, she doesn't. Zia can slow it down..I think."

I give Owen puppy eyes, knowing they always worked against his Alpha stance. "Please, Owen."

He pulls me towards him, our lips meeting and we kiss for a few minutes. Almost breathing heavy he says."I'll be back. Keep the two of you safe." I nod by head ok.

The baby was fighting against me, turning from human to raptor with each wave of pain. Claire helps me through the estate until I heard the roars from the roof. "Clarie gun now!" I demand but she starts.

"Y/n Owen said-" I cut her off crawling up the rooftop with her following after. Just a little longer baby, just a little longer.

Finally getting on the roof I see Owen holding onto a statue with his left and his right keeping Maisie from falling to her death. Blinking my eyes in the rain I holler out. "Hey hybrid!" The monster turned its head my direction before a red beam is shot to Owen's chest. Looking out of the corner of my right I see Claire holding a gun, her finger rested on the button that sends off a sharp sound.

The beast locked onto Owen with his arms protecting Maisie, charging at the pair. But he slides underneath its legs grabbing my left leg making us smash our backs into a brick post of the roof. The indoraptor falls through the glass but using its claws doesn't fall on the statue below it. Crap!" Lightning flashes in the distance for me to squint seeing Blue on part of the rooftop.

"Blue..." I whispered under my breath once Owen locked onto his former Beta. She screeched launching herself ontop of the Indoraptor causing it to fall through the broken glass and die on the statue. Once it's dead she screeched out again in victory running off somewhere. I love my sister.

I released a breath I knew I was holding, remembering our training lessons with the girls, they could always smell fear. Owen let's on escape as well pulling my face into his chest for a peaceful second. I wrap my arms around his neck enjoying the rain falling on us. No more genetic hybrids.
