Gemma had left about 30 minutes after the conversation she had with her daughter in law. It was now three hours later. Harley had put Abel in his crib and she was now sitting in s bath. The scalding hot water had turned her skin red and steam clung the walls, but she was relaxed. She had put on an old record player with some slow nirvana songs in the hallway so she could faintly hear it. She leaned her back against the tub and let the water come up around her neck. The tip tops of her knees barely poking out of the water. Her hand resting on her belly under the water.
"I can't wait for you to meet your daddy" she whispered and smiled to herself.
"Even though he's kind of a dumbass sometimes. He's gonna love you like no other." She was Happy that she was starting a family
"I also can't wait for you to meet your big brother Abel. He's gonna love you too." Her voice grew softer. Her eye lids fluttered as she was about to fall asleep and then her phone rang. Buzzing on the sink. She dried off her dominant hand and grabbed it, she then flipped it open and answered it.
"Hello?"
"Harley it's Gemma. The boys got picked up."Gemma was frantic. Harley's stomach turned to knots. She felt vomit in the back of her throat then fire shot through her veins.
"I fucking told everyone if you that some shit was gonna happen but no one fucking listens to me!" Harley roared which resorted in a crying Abel. Before Gemma could say anything Harley slammed her phone shut. She jumped out of the tub and grabbed a towel taking her phone with her and walked to Abel's room. She rubbed his belly and gunned softly for about s minute and he fell back asleep. She opened her phone and called neeta.
"I need you to come watch abel the guys got picked up and I have to go see them." Harley rubbed her head and sighed.
"I'll be there in ten." Neeta said hanging up the phone. Harley walked to her and Jax's shared bedroom. She grabbed her hair brush and brushed the tangles out of her hair. Her hands were shaking as she detangled her hair. She dried her body off and grabbed an old Led Zeppelin shirt that was cropped and worn. Holes torn in the collar. She slipped on a worn pair of short black shorts. She pulled her blonde wavy hair into a messy bun and she put on deodorant. She was walking out of her room when Neeta walked through the door. "I'm so sorry I called you this late." Harley gave her a sympathetic look and handed her a fifty dollar bill and rushed out the door. She started up her bike and rushed off to the address of the San Joaquin police station. Soon enough she arrived and jumped off her bike and stormed through the door. Gemma, the clubs lawyer, and under all turned around to look at her. She stood there with wild hair from the wind, a manic look in her eyes and her tattooed fists clenched.
"Where is jackson." Harley squeezed through a clenched jaw
"You shouldn't see him." Gemma said
"I DONT CARE. WHERE IS JACKSON" she roared as she took long strides towards Gemma. She was ready to swing.
Before she could swing one of the officers pointed towards a door.
That's all harley needed. She knew where the cells were. She immediately went back to the cage and demanded Hale to open it. He knew not to mess with her so he opened them and let her in. The men heard the patter of barefeet on the hard floor and they all looked up to see a fuming Harley.
"Oh shit" Juice said as he backed away from the door of the cell they were all crammed in
"What the fuck is wrong with you stupid dick bags?!" Harley screamed as she walked towards the cell door.
"Harley" Jax said with red eyes
"Don't Harley me." She spat
"I told you both!" She looked at Jax and Clay
"I told you that I had a bad feeling about this shit. I told you to come home to me jackson!" She screamed and wrapped her small tattooed fingers around bars of thecekk door and shook it. Tears began to run down her cheeks.
Jax put his head down. Harley's legs felt week as the tears were flowing faster.
"But our baby" Harley sobbed and trembled. Her legs were about to give out and she was holding her self up by the bars she was gripping. The men gasped.
"Harley baby I'm so sorry" he reached his hand through the cell door and she swatted it away which caused her to lose her balance and hit the floor. She sat on the floor on her knees and wrapped her arms around her body as sobs ripped through her body. The men watching in silence as sobs rung through her body and trembled.
"I can't believe you." She looked up at them and they all put their heads down
"I was just about to ask one of you to be the god father or this child. I have to go through this pregnancy and deliver our child BY MYSELF" she shouted
"Along with handling what happened and knowing that son of a bitch is still around. You guys were stupid enough to go in without a plan and blind. It was a trap you fools!" She pulled her self off the floor.
"They're taking us to S.J.C.C.F" Jax told her as she wiped her cheeks.
"I'll see you later jackson." And with that she left.
