I was never that predictable girl in shitty cliche stories that emphasizes school as hell, although I'm also not overly enthusiastic about it all either.
One specific thing I was nervous about is, colliding with new pack members in the halls. If Penelope attended Ocean Mount view High, there was bound to contain others as well. Members of a pack didn't intend on spreading out but instead staying close to another in case of a emergency, unless needed, obviously.
I was required to participate in school, because according to my Father, mates were equals who loved each other, no matter what, but they were impressed by intelligence. If it was based on my personal preference, I wouldn't have a clue at what I'd be doing with my life. So I consider, my Dad knows what he's doing on the rare occasion.
"I can't believe you're wearing that on your first day of school", Milly snickered at my current appearance.
I was dressed in a tolerable cream shaded lace top, with sleeves that finished three quarters down my arms and a pair of ripped skinny jeans, slim fitting against my figure. This exact combination was fixed by a determined evil Theresa, who was precise on deciding a accurate outfit in relation to a first impression.
The line was cut particularly short when I rejected her suggestion towards trading in my "ratty converse", as she called them for some petite wedges. I may have agreed to changing my usual outfit for a day, but I wasn't going overboard.
"I'm sorry, I don't recall inviting you in my room."
"And why did you cut your hair like that?", she scrunched her nose in disgust.
This lovely sister I have is fourteen, may I remind you.
Our hairdresser appointment went a little overboard, reason being why my hair suddenly has discreet layers and distracting curly tips from the amount of trimmings that was chopped off, landing on their floor by the time we left.
"Go get ready, midget", I smirked. Milly inherited our Mothers short height at 5'4, I enjoyed teasing her about it, at every opening opportunity just because of the satisfaction I received at her body squirming embarrassed.
Ugh, was all she mumbled, storming out of my neat room, and slamming the door annoyance.

"So I have English first, but I'm absolutely sure, I can manage to find someone who wouldn't mind hanging with you in Dance", Penelope giggled.
Her constant joyful state was irritating me further at every glance in her direction. While attempting to not sound overall rude, although I wouldn't particularly want to see Penelope sad, I personally just couldn't comprehend her daily beaming presence.
"Yeah thanks, that'd be cool", I replied slightly grateful. I wouldn't mind either way, whether I sat by myself or not with the exception of pleasing my new found "friend".
I was deeply reciting the lyrics strumming through my earphones, striding in too my new school, until I was tackled into a hug by Penelope causing a yelp from me and a scene in the senior car park. Talk about first impressions, Theresa would totally approve HA!
"Oh my god April, this is the new girl I was talking to you about, yesterday!", she screeched at a well composed brunette. Hair long enough to reach the floor and extend down towards the cafeteria, she flashed a fake smile in my direction, criticizing my every move.
"Well I, really have to start moving but I hope you have fun in dance and break a leg", Penelope winked before rushing through the halls.
Smooth, Penelope.
"Ugh, she's so irritating", April groaned. Well our short introduction took a sharp turn, to 'bitchville', population; April.
"She's not that bad."
"Yeah well, when you're dating her brother and are forced to play nice, it becomes old, real quick", she snapped.
Damn, who on earth would consider dating this freak show? Sure, she had a killer figure, supporting a fitting leather mini skirt with a crop top that was offering a little to much on display.
"Hey baby", I heard a striking male voice, catch my attention. I guy around our age, I assuming nuzzled into April's neck. His voice was like a god, mesmerizing everyone in line of sight. His tall frame towered over each of us, brown glossy hair, looking very well looked after, everything about him, screamed perfect.
His scent was a mix of lavender body wash and nature, I scrunched my nose at the affection before me, until his beautiful piercing brown eyes locked with mine.
"Mate", we spoke in sync.
My mate not only had a girlfriend but also held dominance in authority laced in his tone.
My Mate is also my new Alpha.
