"Me Next, Daddy!"

Kelsey smiled as she heard Jared and Jensen come through the door. Today was the last day of filming and she knew they were ready to be home. She continued to stir her Texas chili. Her smile grew as Jared's wrapped his arms around her middle. He smiled as he felt the baby kick against his hand. She leaned back and kissed his cheek as he rubbed her thirty week baby bump. He sighed and said," When we get back my parents has asked to come over for dinner. Is that okay?" Kelsey nodded as she reached over and turned off the stove eye. She gently stirred it one last time before turning in his arms. Kelsey looked into his eyes and said," I'd love to. But do they know the whole situation with the baby and everything? I don't want them to think bad of me." Jared nodded and placed his hands firmly on her shoulders. He looked down into her eyes and said," Yes. In fact my mother was amazed you kept the baby considering your circumstances. Plus she's heard how good you with the kids and cannot wait to meet you. I know we fly out tomorrow but we have dinner at their house on Friday, so you have time to rest." Jared gently kissed her lips and pulled away as he heard Odette running into the kitchen screaming," Daddy! Daddy! Daddy!" Kelsey chuckled as Jared ran to Odette and picked her up. He swung her around the kitchen making her giggle loudly. Jensen came into the kitchen grabbing a beer from the fridge as Jared put down Odette telling her to wash up for dinner. Odette ran down the hall as Jensen said," Me next daddy!" Jared rolled his eyes and punched Jensen's shoulder as Kelsey rolled her eyes before she started scooping out chili.

Too soon Friday came around. Kelsey secretly dreaded meeting Jared's family. She didn't want to make a bad impression. Kelsey stood in front of her Jared's shared closet trying to find the perfect outfit. She pulled out a a simple burnt orange maxi dress and a pair of white flip flops. Jared came from the bathroom in a pair of boxers. She smiled as she laid her clothes out on the bed and went back to the closet pulling out one of his green plaid shirts and a pair of jeans. She laid the outfit on the bed beside hers making Jared chuckle. He kissed her cheek as he began getting dressed. Kelsey slipped on the dress only for it not fit around her bump. She sighed and said," This fit two weeks when I bought this." Jared just smiled as he helped her slip out from the dress and went to the closet. She watched him search he pulled out a simple grey t shirt dress and one of her plaid shirts. He helped her slip on the dress an tied the plaid under her baby bump. He smiled and said," Beautiful." He kissed her lips and pulled away looking  into her brown eyes as he said," Now we better hurry before we're late and let's hope the kids are ready.

Jared held Kelsey's hand as the kids ran ahead of them towards their grandparents house. Kelsey smiled as she watched the kids hug their grandparents. She was soon spotted by Jared's mother and she waved wildly before pulling Tom into a hug. Jared and Kelsey made it to the front steps Jared was immediately pulled into a large hug. Jared laughed and hugged his mom back patting her back. Jared's father, Gerald, held out his hand to Kelsey and said," You must be the famous Kelsey that we have heard so much. It's great to finally meet you." Kelsey shook his hand gave him a smile. She felt Jared wrap an arm her waist as she said," It's great to finally meet you as well. I hear so much about y'all from the kids and Jared." She pulled her hand away only to brought into a hug. Jared's mother, Sharon, chuckled and said," Oh God, it's about time I met you. I must say you you are glowing!" Kelsey blushed as she and Sharon pulled away. Kelsey stepped back beside Jensen and set a hand on her still growing belly and scoffed. She chuckled and said,"Thank you but if glowing means beached whale you are absolutely right." Jared rolled his eyes and as Sharon waved them inside. Sharon led them to kitchen where Kelsey could smell a million wonderful things cooking. This was something she never had. She didn't have a real Thanksgiving till she was twenty one with Dom's family. Kelsey looked around and found a picture of Jared in a graduation gown and beautiful baby face. She smiled and got closer to the picture. Sharon came up behind her and said," That was his high school graduation. Your nephew is about to graduate too, isn't he?" Kelsey nodded blinking away sudden tears. She smiled and pulled out her phone showing a picture of Noah. She chuckled and said," A couple more years. I swear he's fifteen going on thirty. Gosh, he'll be sixteen next month." Sharon noticed her teary eyes and gently rubbed her back with a hand as smiled lightly. Sharon led her over to where Jared and Gerald were talking. Gerald noticed them approaching and said," I say we sit down and eat. I'll go grab the kids."
