Chapter 46: Serri's death

"Uhh, Can you like... Catch me and Gahyeon on why this is related to Dalshabet?" Handong spoke.

Jiu was about to explain when Yoobin spoke, "Dalshabet makes songs on their free time. One of their songs is titled 'Be ambitious'."

They remained silent.

Sua took a deep breath, "Okay... Me, Handong, Yoobin and Jiu will go to Dalshabet's floor. Gahyeon, stay with my friend."

Dalshabet's floor was a few floors above them, The four got to the elevator as the door closed.

Gahyeon turned to Momo, "Hey. Whats your name?"

Momo thought that Gahyeon will recognize her if she says it. Momo changed her voice a little, "Hirai."

"Im Gahyeon, Sua unnie probably introduced us all already though." Gahyeon got out her hand to shake hands with Momo.

Momo hesitated, but she shook her hand anyway.

The two interacted with each other while waiting for the other girls.

On the way up, Handong got a bad feeling when they get nearer to the floor.

She faintly hums 'Good night' to calm herself, "유현이 집에있다~" Handong realized she got the lyrics wrong. Instead, she realized it gave Yoohyeon's location. Her home.

The elevator door opened. The lights were off. Before they could open the lights, they heard glass shatter.

Jiu found the light switch and turned it on.

Serri was facing the window. "Serri! Are you okay? I--" Sua went over to her and taps her shoulder. "Serri..?" Serri's body collapsed on the floor.

"NO!" Serri had a gunshot to the head. While the other girls were around Serri's body, Handong looked out the window.

She saw a boy wearing a red hoodie with jeans running to the crowds, bumping everyone he saw.

Handong squinted her eyes. She couldn't tell who it was. Until the boy turned around when a man yelled at him.

She was shocked, It was her childhood friend; Luhan.

"Handong... Are you alright?" Jiu turned to her.

Handong wiped her eyes, "Yup."

The elevator dinged, It was the rest of Dalshabet.

"And-- SERRI!!" Woohee was in a middle of a sentence, she was the first to react.

The girls ran over to Serri, "WHAT DID YOU DO TO HER?!" Ayoung shouted.

"W-we didn't do anything! We found her like this.." Jiu explained.

"Why did you come here then?!" Subin yelled.

"Because of this.." Sua got out the vile and showed it to them.

"Thats not either of our handwriting... Is that blood?" Dalshabet was focused on the vile they didn't notice that Handong was walking towards the stairs.

Jiu saw her from the corner of her eye. She follows her.

Handong walked to Yoohyeon's house. She gets out her phone and went through her contacts and found Luhan's.

She thought at this time Luhan changed her number but Luhan answered.

"Hey there, Dongie! Why you callin?"

"Hey, Lu. Where are you?" Handong starts to speed-walk.

"What do you mean? Im still at Seoul.. Why? You want me to come back to China to hang with you?"

"No, I uh.. Just missed you."

"Heh.. Alright. Gotta go now, Talk to you later!"

Luhan hung up. Well, Handong wasn't telling a full lie.

While walking, she accidentally runs into a mailbox. "Ouch." Handong looked and noticed it was Yoohyeon's mailbox.

"Oh," Handong walked towards the door. She was about to knock when she realized she had a key.

Handong unlocked the door. She heard chatter in Yoohyeon's room. She hears Nayeon's annoying voice.

Handong ran to the outside of Yoohyeon's room and kicked open the door.

"Yoohyeon! Are you okay?!" Yoohyeon got startled by Handong's sudden appearance.

Handong looked like she was about to stab Dahyun and Nayeon a billion times, "D-Dont hurt them, Dong!!" Yoohyeon hugged one of Handong's leg.

"They need to go back to jail, Yoo." Handong tried to release her leg from Yoohyeon.

"I dont wanna go back there, Dongdong! They're my friends now...!" Yoohyeon cried.

Handong couldn't resist her puppy eyes, "Fine."

Handong turned to Yoohyeon for one second, when Dahyun and Nayeon suddenly grunts.

They turned back when Jiu shot Nayeon and Dahyun with a syringe, causing them to collapse.

"JIU NO!.." Yoohyeon cried again..

"Im sorry, Yoohyeon." Jiu got Nayeon and Dahyun out of the house.

Yoohyeon didn't even stop it, she just kept crying. They hear the engine going away.

"Serri unnie is dead."

Yoohyeon looked up, remaining silent.

"I might have an idea who's sending the messages."

"My friend, Luhan."
