His eyes fell onto the brunette boy that stood with his ex-mate, and he was filled with a wretched sense of curiosity.
How did he not know of this omegas existence?
Had the omega passed through before his time?
"Aha, this is Eren. He's quite new to our team, he arrived when all you angels were sleeping." Petra gave them a smug smile, and Levi watched the brunette-no, Eren, twitch and turn to look at her.
Levi's face scrunched up, sure that not every angel was asleep, and he extended a hand.
"Nice to meet you, Eren. My name is Levi." The brunette had taken his hand before Petra could speak up and warn him, and Levi smiled at a familiar zap of energy that coursed through his body.
It wasn't unpleasant, just, electrifying.
The glow returned to his eyes, and he found himself watching Eren's life play before his eyes.

The memories the brunette had seemed jumbled, but from what Levi could see, he'd lived a life of abuse, but he'd never done anything... wrong. In fact, the omega had no voice to do wrong with towards the end.
Levi released the boys hand, eyes moving to study the omega in confusion.
"Why is he... like this...?" Levi's scent began to strengthen with his concern, and he bit his lip.
He would be in trouble with the other elders for caring about such a boy, one of the fallen.
"I stabbed someone. Fifty six times." The boys voice was almost as shocking as a gunshot, perhaps his confession even more so, and Levi's eyes widened.
His gunmetal orbs shot back to the omegas face, which showed no emotion, and he found his mouth dry.
"Why?" Levi watched the omegas head tilt backwards, and his eyes followed the boys to look up at heaven. A bitter smile fell onto plump lips.
"They killed my mom, and stole my voice from me." Levi's tongue moved to wet his lips, and he struggled for a reply.
"That's unfortunate, a stupid decision on your part really. A life for a life is only good in the short term, it becomes problematic later on. You could have been an angel." Levi's eyes bore into the green eyes of the younger, so green they seemed to glow.
"Perhaps being an angel makes you ignorant. I think some angels just decide not to go to heaven, I bet it's full of stuck up pricks." The chuckle that left the omegas lips left Levi tense and the warm hand slipped away from his own.
