Eren's feet skidded across the ground before his shoulder hit the wall with a crack.
A whistle came from behind him, followed by an unwomanly snort of laughter.
He turned his head towards them, surprised to see it was Levi and Hange.
What business did they have here?
Hange grinned and waved at him, Levi catching her arm to stop her with a glare and some words Eren couldn't quite catch.
Eren followed Levi's gaze to his scythe that had clattered to the ground, and he shot Levi a fanged smile.
He watched them walk away before he continued his flying practice.
Practice makes perfect, right?

Mikasa sighed softly, rubbing Armin's back as she held back her own tears.
The beta was a wreck, each sob shaking him, and Mikasa caught the eyes of the shop assistant, who's eyes widened as hers narrowed.
"Come on Armin, we have to pick some flowers, for Eren."

Eren slumped back against his pillows with a huff, glaring down at his aching legs.
His wings ached too, and he whined at the realisation he had patrol when he woke up.
Perhaps he could skip a day.
