"Okay how we going to tell them?" I ask Chris
We was in front of my parents house sitting in the car. I was nervous but Chris was just on his phone chewing the hell out the piece of gum he stole out my purse.
"That you my baby. I don't see why you sweating so hard Girl we grown." He kiss my cheek." Get out the car I'm hungry."
I watch him walk to my parents door.
"Come on Layla."He yelled.
I sigh getting out.
"Calm down I got you mama." He kiss my forehead.
I open the door to see everybody sitting watching TV.
"Hey y'all." I said smiling
"Shhhhhh!!" Everybody said at the same time.
"Excuse me." I mumble."What y'all watching anyway? " I sat my purse down on the counter.
"All about the Benjamin's " Lacey said never taking her eyes off the movie.
I smack my lips." Y'all seen this movie like a thousand times."
"Shhhhhh!!" They ass said again
"I got something to tell you guys." I said to the back of their heads.
They all ignored me.
"I'm pregnant." I smile playing.
"What?!" Everybody stood up turning around to look at me and Chris.
"Kidding. Now that I got y'all attention." I held Chris hand." Me and Chris are officially dating." I cheese hard.
They all look at us nonchalant then turn back around to finish watching the movie .
"Ain't this What y'all wanted?!" I said not feeling they nonchalant vibe.
"Girl you took so long that we don't even care." Lauryn said eating a big of hot fries.
"Whatever." I pouted
"I'm proud of you." Lyric said turning around with her reading glasses on." I just hope you happy."
"Thank you Lyric." I lean into Chris arm.
She smile turning back around.
"I don't need to talk to you Chris? You already know what's up." My dad said staring at him.
Chris shook his head.
"No sir." Chris grab my hand..hard.
My dad just nod and stared at him for a second before looking back to the TV.
"I've been told her to get it sha'poping with you." Lacey said rolling her eyes.
"Thank you Lacey." I rolled my eyes.
"Okay is that it ? we will like to get back to the movie before we was rudely interrupted. " Leroy said sitting by Lauryn feet.
I cross my arms pouting.
"Yeah that's it."
"Finally." Lamont said smirking
"Let's go Chris."
He chuckle walking behind me.
"Bye y'all." I grab my purse.
"Shhhhh!!" They all did again.
"Y'all shhhh!" I copy them slamming the door.
" why are you mad ain't this what you wanted?"
"Yes. But I hate that they was being so calm about it. Usually everything I do they have a comment on it.. it's just weird." I got in the car.
"Maybe because they known me they whole lives and know that I wouldn't hurt you." He cut the car on.
"I guess you right."
"I know I'm right. You wanna get pizza tonight?"
"Yep and can I have you for dessert?" I lick my lips.
"Yo you be horney 24/7." He laugh
I shrug putting my hair in a ponytail before unzipping his pants.
