jimin was exhausted after both of them ran. it was already dark and jungkook was still shivering. obviously, it's because he's with a murderer and he's thinking that he might be dead before daylight.
"w-where are we?" jungkook froze when both of them stood at a small apartment far from the city.
jimin just glared at him after he opened the apartment's front door. "come inside," he said, more of a command.
"i d-don't want to," jungkook said in a small voice.
jimin frowned instantly. yes, he knows that the younger is scared because of what he saw. so instead of just telling him to go inside, jimin dragged him by pulling jungkook by his arm.
as soon as both of them were inside the apartment, jungkook shut his eyes and hugged his school bag tightly.
"p-please don't kill me. i didn't mean to walk by that alley. i'm not familiar with seoul and—"
"cut the crap. i'm not killing you," jimin coldly said after switching on the lights. "this is my apartment. sit down," he commanded once again.
jungkook was confused. he's not killing him. he felt relieved after hearing those words from him. he opened his eyes and then saw a dim lit living room with a few boxes which are probably his things. he also got a couch and a few pile of papers on a medium sized table. he doesn't have a tv. he only had one fridge and no dining table. after jungkook was familiarizing himself with jimin's small apartment, he realized something.
jimin is lonely.
the older took off his shoe and left it near the doorstep. he also took off his hoodie which made him look half naked. jungkook immediately looked away. not that he haven't seen a guy without a shirt before, but he's just uncomfortable...
jungkook couldn't help himself. he took a peek at the older. jimin was fixing his things on the dirty couch. most of his clothes were all over the place. he doesn't seem to clean at all. but when he looked at jimin, a tattoo instantly captured his attention. the tattoo near his right rib says "nevermind".
"what? you're just going to stand there?" jimin asked, annoyed. he just rolled his eyes when he realized that jungkook just stood there, still stunned. "just... sit the fuck down. if you're thinking that i'll kill you, i should've done it already."
slowly, jungkook made his way to the couch and quietly sat down. right now, jimin's wearing a thin plain white shirt, which made his tattoo look visible. on the other side, jimin sat on a bean bag. he opened a can of beer and then took out a cigarette. he grabbed his lighter and swiftly lit up his cigar.
"y-you smoke?" jungkook tried his best to sound comfortable as possible. he's sitting straight on the couch while his huge bag is on his lap.
jimin arched his brow. "does it look like i don't?" he asked, then puffed a smoke after it.
jungkook immediately covered his nose with his handkerchief. the older find the gesture cute, but he shook it off immediately.
an awkward silence enveloped the whole place after that. when jimin shoved his cigar at the ashtray near him, jungkook uncovered his nose and spoke.
"you're lonely. you don't have any friends or family living with you?" he asked.
personally, jimin doesn't like to talk about those kind of stuff. his life is dull. and hell, the drugs and killings are the only things that keeps him alive.
before speaking, jimin deeply thought of something. should he trust him? he looks like a baby with bunny teeth for fuck's sake, he doesn't seem to look like a nosy ass high schooler who will report to the police about a murderer that is currently letting him stay at his dirty apartment.
