He could quite literally feel the weight of the news that he carried. It weighed down on his countenance and made little beads of perspiration form on his forehead.

The market square was packed full of peasants as they were about the mundane business of living. They all stood still at the arrival of the Royal Messenger and his convoy of guards.

Summoning all the confidence that he had very little of, he stepped forward to address the crowd. There were three long trumpet blasts and everyone went silent.

"Hear ye! Hear ye! Hear ye!"

He unrolled the scroll, cleared his throat and begun.

"There has been great unrest ever since an assailant made their way into the castle some time ago. They made away with...some valuables. An enemy of the kingdom, a rebel, roams amongst us."

Frightened gasps went through the crowd.

"The suspect is assumed to be a girl with fiery red hair. Do not be fooled by her as she is believed to possess some rather unusual powers. If anyone has any information regarding this traitor, you are required to come forward. By the order of His Majesty the King."

Once again, there were three trumpet blasts and the crowd dispersed, muttering among themselves.
