"I know yer have been hidin' somethin' from me! I need ta know what it is!"

Big John strode after Amelia.

"There is nothing for me to say!"

"I know yer, Amelia! I know somethin' ain't right! I could help!"

She spun around to face him. They were in the middle of the camp, surrounded by the others who were pretending to not listen.

"When I need your help, I will ask for it!"

She spun around and he grabbed her wrist. Her eyes shot fire at him as she said, in a low voice, "Let go of me."

Jas grabbed a sword off one of the men and aimed it at Big John. He let go of her.

If it was even possible, Amelia turned an even darker shade of red.

"What do you think you're doing? Saving me?"

"Quite the contrary. I'm saving him. You saved my life so I'm saving him. A life for a life, that sort of thing."

"I'm not sure you understand what it means."

"Besides, I have been dying to do this ever since I got here."

Big John removed his sword from its sheath and aimed it back at the prince. They circled each other as Amelia drew back.

"Yer 'ave no business getting involved in that which don' concern yer!"

It was beautiful. Like a twisted dance of sorts. Jas danced around him, blocking his sword, on the defense. He ducked and swiped with such grace that it would've brought tears to people's eyes. The tip of his blade teased Big John which only made him angrier and his moves more careless. It would have been romantic had it not been for Big John's grants as he lunged at him. Jas easily dodged all of his jabs.

He was beginning to wear down. That's when Jas moved in for the kill. He knocked the broadsword out of his hand and pointed it at his neck. Everyone erupted into cheers and the prince bowed. Just then, Big John reached out and knocked him down with a huge blow to the face.
