Chapter 4 ~

"Natsu?!" Natsu stood in the doorway breathing heavily as if he ran here. "Lucy what's going on?!" His eyes darted back and forth as he took in the room. "Oh Natsu! You'll believe me right?!" I stood up shakily and stumbled over to Natsu, falling. He grabbed my arms and helped me into a sitting/standing position, most of my body weight he was carrying. Barley standing he held me. "Lucy are you ok!?" he looked around me a saw Lisanna. His eyes darted back to mine angrily "who did this to you guys?" he said ferociously.

I couldn't find the words to say her, to break his heart, to tell him his childhood friend who he's in love with isn't the same girl she used to be. You know it's all your fault...if only you had hidden your feelings she wouldn't have found out and none of this would have happened...its all your fault. "Me" all heads whipped my way "what?!" Erza exclaimed. Natsu flinched, his face etching into confusion and beneath it all I could see a spark of betrayal. "Lucy, stop this isn't funny" his voice was hard and serious. Tears poured down my face, not everyone can stay strong for so long.

A darkness settled in my mind. Didn't you say it yourself? Lisanna's in your way, the reason your in this mess is because of her. "I stabbed Lisanna...I mean she acts like she's so perfect, when In reality she's a stuck up bitch who everybody loves." It rolled off my tongue so naturally I almost believed It myself. Because it's true. Some of the guild members gasped while others stood mouths a gap. "Ever since she's come back, you've been ignoring me right?" Natsu's eyes flared up in anger "Lucy, I haven't been ignoring yo-". I smirked through my tears "then what about today? Did you even try to hang out with me like we planned?" He lowered his head in shame. "No, you were too busy stuffing your face with that bitches picnic." Remembering the day before when I overheard Lisanna talking about making a picnic for Natsu. "Lucy......I.." he stopped not looking me in the eye. Erza stepped forward "That doesn't justify what you did Lucy" I smiled tears streaming. "I know" good now let's leave, they don't need us....we don't need them.

I walked passed the confused fire mage and out of the medical room into the guild hall. Some members trailed behind me as I walked out and towards the doors. Natsu stood head down in the same spot fists clenched. I could see Levy in the corner Gajeel holding her by the waist as she cried and reached out for me. "Lu-Chan!! I don't want you to leave!" I tilted my head smiling, tears glimmering. I nod my head at Gajeel and he nodded back. The silent message between us.
