I am starting this off by explaining the title. I believe that it is always convenient/interesting to know where someone got the name for a song, book, poem, or business. However, it is not always apparent on the reasoning, like the Harry Potter book series or the song, Breathe (2am) by Anna Nalick. Because of that, I am starting this off by writing an excerpt on why I chose the title that I did.
As you are aware, the title of this collection is Hamilton Wrote The Other Fifty-One. I have based this off of the lyrics of "Non-Stop" from the Broadway Musical, Hamilton. The song states, "Alexander joins forces with James Madison and John Jay to write a series of essays defending the new United States Constitution entitled The Federalist Papers. The plan was to write a total of twenty-five essays, the work divided evenly among the three men. In the end, they wrote eighty-five essays in the span of six months. John Jay got sick after writing five. James Madison wrote twenty-nine. Hamilton wrote the other FIFTY-ONE."
I thought that, since this is a collection of essays (as well as other things) and I am also a very big fan of Hamilton: A Broadway Musical, I would make the title something affiliated with Hamilton and his writing. I believe that Alexander Hamilton could be a big inspiration to young writers and journalists.
