my eyes fluttered, a yawn escaping my lips from the on-going fight of trying not to fall asleep. bio wasn't my area of expertise, that was for sure. it seemed like hours of staring at the ticking clock, i'm not even sure how i haven't gone insane yet, in reality it was only an hour and forty minutes, but time goes by slower when you're doing absolutely nothing.

even though i'm atrocious at bio, i managed to finish my two-sided paper early, which left me just waiting for the bell. thankfully, bio was my last class, and it was friday.

finally, friday.

usually my bestfriend lacy has something planned, so i always keep my friday free; it's not like i have stuff to do, though. don't get me wrong, i'm not a loner, i just preferably keep my inner circle small.

my thoughts were interrupted by the ringing of the bell, and almost immediately i rushed to gather all of my things together, wanting to hurry out of this classroom immediately back to the dormitory's.

the sound of talking and an immense amount of teenage girls filled the hallway and my ears as i walked back upstairs to the dorms, perks of an all girls catholic school! it's either the girls are overly annoying, or overly religious and shove catholicism down your throat. half of them are only here because of money, but you come by a few on scholarships for our sports teams.

i stopped myself on the fourth floor, pulling my key out of my overly expensive polo pen-pocket. i unlocked the door and turned it, lifting slightly on the handle since it was broken due to my roommate lacy. the dorm was empty, but that was no surprise, lacy walked with our other friend leilani to the dormitory's on friday's, and then when she got to them she dragged us into her master-hang out plans.

"you said we'd go to WHAT?" i yelled, my fingers coursing through my long wavy hair. i can't say i'm too surprised with the sporadic plans she brought home; she's odd.

"listen, okay? one party with the st. joseph's boys wouldn't be THAT bad! you need to  not be so uptight about everything.. we'd have a ton of fun if you'd just let loose!"

"i hate to say she's right, ophelia.. but, she's right. sammy wilkinson is hosting it, it's probably going to be one of the biggest parties of the year." leilani chimed in, causing an exasperated groan to fall out of my lips.

"we're not even allowed on their campus." i said, it was an obvious rule. we were considered the "sister school" of them, and the two campuses were not allowed to crossover whatsoever. plus, everybody knew sammy wilkinson. he was only in the school due to his money, much like his snobby dickhead friends.
