"Where have you been" demanded my mother as I walked in.
"Sorry mom, one of my teachers asked me to tutor a student. I had to stay back because he was a bit late."
"Wait it's a he? Who is he? I want to meet him. When will you tutor him? Oh and where are u going to tutor him?"
"Mom calm down"
"Don't tell me to calm down, now who is he?"
"It's just Xavier and we're gonna meet on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. I guess we'll just go to one of our houses."
"Alright get started on your homework. Show me everything when you're done. And tell me if you have any tests. "
"Mom seriously I can do my homework on my own." Ugh she's so annoying. Always telling me to do this so that. I'm not 5 anymore. I guess she just doesn't understand that.
I literally hate high school. I can't wait till I'm out of this hell hole. I can't lie and say I never liked high school. Grade 9 was a pretty good year but at this point I'm too tired to even care.
Why do teachers give this much homework anyway. I spend 8 hours a day in school. Then I come home and gotta do pounds of homework. On top of that like 62626273 tests a week. I have a life you know.
I'm snapped out of my thoughts as I see my phone go off. Well that's rare. No one ever texts me.
April
Hey
There's a party on Friday wanna come?Ellie
Idk mom's not gonna let me
U know how she is but I'll askApril
Don't worry I'll find a way to make sure u can come to the partyAll of a sudden mom walks in. Perfect timing, the second I pick up my phone she walks in.
"Why are you on your phone. Show me what you've done other than use that phone."
"Mom seriously. I'm 17 I can do my own stuff. You need to start trusting me."
"Fine and hurry up come down for dinner. Also put on something appropriate the Adams are coming over."
I quickly rip off my sweater and sweatpants and throw on a nice top and some skinny jeans. I grab my phone and run downstairs as fast as possible.
Can't get there after the guests. What am I even saying. The Adams shouldn't even be considered guests. They're family at this point.
I hear the doorbell and then voices. Well I guess I'm too late to be there before the guests. I'll just make a grand entrance instead. No biggie.
I walk down the stairs super slowly and walk into the living room where everyone was sitting. "DONT WORRY IM HERE" I scream while laughing. "Sorry about that just got a bit excited"
Out of the corner of my eye I see my mom giving me a glare. No not a normal glare. That glare that mothers have the special ability to give in any situation.
"It ok no worries I remember when I used to be like that. A happy young teenager. Life was good back then." Sighs Anne. "So how's school been? Xavier said your going to tutor him."
"School is school. I can't wait to get it over with. I'll be tutoring Xavier Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays at one of our houses. I hope that's fine."
"That's perfectly fine with me. You know if u want u can go out on a few dates. Maybe go to prom together or you could give us a few babies."
Hearing that I started choking and coughing. Luckily mom called me that minute to help set the table. Saved by my momma but I knew better than thinking she hadn't heard what Anne had said. She heard and she will say something about it.
"Watch the lasagne that's in the oven right now. Take it out when it's ready. While your here frost the cupcakes. Oh and hurry up with those babies. I want grandkids." Mom says as she walks out.
I turn around grab the cupcakes, frosting and sprinkles. I made vanilla cupcakes and I'm going to put rainbow frosting on top. Then I'm going to add sprinkles on top. They're my specialty and everyone loves them. I call them unicorn cupcakes.
All of a sudden I feel someone pull my hair back. Then they lean in and whisper into my ear, "You heard my mom. We should make babies. They can have ur gorgeous eyes and cute nose. They can have my hair. How's that sound?"
I'm frozen, my thoughts are racing, and I don't know what to say. What do I even reply to my best friend/crush telling me he wants to sleep with me.
I frantically look around for an escape. Where do I go and what do I say? I turn around to tell him that I got someone else to make babies with, as he put it.
As I turn around I see him on the ground laughing uncontrollably, clutching his stomach, and tears coming out of his eyes.
"You your face. Oh my god that was so funny. You looked like you wanted to burry yourself alive." He says still laughing uncontrollably. "I wish I caught that on video tape."
"Well I was gonna tell you I already have someone to make babies with"
"Oh who is that? Your imaginary boyfriend Bob?"
"Actually his name is Dylan Sprouse. He's super cute and hot and I love him. Our babies would be so cute."
"Our babies would still be cuter though. You can't even try denying it."
Beep beep. The oven goes off indicating the lasagna is done but I'm too distracted with Xavier to notice. He looks really cute right now. Maybe even cuter than Dylan.
"Umm Sandy... you should take the lasagna out before it burns. I'm kinda hungry but if you burn I'm sure you could give me something else to eat." Xavier says with a suggestive smirk.
I quickly take it out of the oven and carry it over to the table. As I'm about to sit down I remember to grab the pop from the fridge. I quickly grab it and sit back down.
Dinner was a bit intense you could say. Well at least in my opinion. On one side was Elijah and on the other side Xavier.
Xavier had his hand on my thigh while Elijah glared at him. Although I can't say I minded Xavier's hand in my thigh. It was pretty comfortable.
All in all you could say dinner was fine. At least when I went to get the cupcakes and ice cream for desert Xavier didn't follow me again. Even if he followed me I couldn't deny the fact I didn't mind him following me around.
