Renjun was nervous, he was terrified. He really had no reason to be, they did this kind of thing all the time. Why was it making him freak out now?
perhaps it was the fact lucas was there, joining the dreamies for their weekly sleepover. Maybe it was also the fact that jeno had the wonderful idea of playing spin the bottle, renjun was sure he was just trying to kiss jaemin but he couldn't blame him really.
"can I like opt out of this one?" Renjun tried to beg, but chenle gave him that look and he knew he was doomed.
"sorry junie, lele says you can't and we follow our boss's orders man" lucas spoke up, smiling his dumb smile that made renjun's heart and stomach do backflips.
"it's okay, I just don't want to kiss literally any of you dumbfucks tonight" renjun said in a low voice, his cheeks burning red because literally everyone knew he had the fattest crush on Wong Yukhei since freshman year.
"yeah yeah whatever renjun, just sit down already" Jisung was getting impatient, he would rather not play this game either but they had nothing else to do.
"we can play spin the bottle with a twist if you'd like?" Mark spoke, coming back into the room with one of donghyucks moms empty wine glasses.
"like make it truth or dare instead of just kissing, or you can just kiss whoever it lands on I don't really care"
Renjuns ears perked up at this, maybe truth or dare would be better for all of them.
"I say truth or dare!" Renjun yelled, making jaemin jump in surprise next to him and jeno glare at him from across the circle.
"do you not want to kiss me that bad?" Lucas teased, he was across renjun and to his right.
"I-I n-no? um I mean yes! yes I don't want to kiss you what?" Renjun was freaking out, a stuttering mess and incoherent words spilled from his mouth as he frantically tried to grab the bottle from Mark and start to spin it.
"chenle! Truth or dare?" Renjun asked once the bottle stopped, trying to distract everyone from the mess he was being.
"uhm... dare?" The younger answered with an eyebrow raised, renjun was being weird.
"I dare you to kiss... Jisung! Yeah Jisung" renjun have the younger Chinese his dare, smiling wide in victory as chenle just rolled his eyes and pressed a quick kiss to Jisungs plump lips before sitting back down.
"renjunnn if you're gonna dare someone to kiss someone why don't we just okay regular spin the bottle?" Donghyuck whined from his left, begging renjun with his eyes to just give it up already.
"fine, I hate you guys" renjun gave in, pouring and crossing his arms as he watched chenle spin the bottle and having it land on jaemin.
"awe cmere lele give me a kiss!" jaemin shrieked in excitement, jeno glared at the younger.
the next thing renjun knew, chenle had kissed jaemin on the cheek and jaemin had spun the bottle to have it land on jeno. Of course jaemin would kiss the older on the lips, lingering for longer than he should and leaving with a bright pink blush and pretty smile on his face.
Jeno spun the bottle to have it land on lucas, groaning and dragging his feet over to the eldest boy in the room. "I'm not about to kiss you on the lips, take this" jeno said lowly, kissing lucas in the cheek quickly before running back to his spot in a matter of seconds.
"you guys are boring, the only good thing I've gotten out of this so far is chensung kissing and you two almost making out right in front of my salad" lucas complained and pointed and jeno and jaemin before spinning the bottle.
and fuck, of course it just had to land on renjun didn't it?
"awe yay I get to kiss the cutest boy in this room! fuck yeah!" Lucas yelled out in excitement, a wild smile on his face as renjuns heart was beating out of his chest and his face turning red.
"renjun and Lucas sitting in a tree! K-I-S-S-I-N-G!" Jisung chanted, the rest of the group of boys joining in as Lucas sat himself in front of renjun and cupped his cheek and jaw.
"can I kiss you?" Lucas asked quietly, he was confident and goofy but he wanted to make sure renjun was okay with this.
"I-I uh yeah you c-can" renjun really hated the fact he kept stuttering, stupid lucas and his stupid perfect face and handsome body and deep voice.
"okay cool" lucas moved his face closer, giving renjun one last look before closing his eyes and gently pressing his lips against the youngers.
The group of boys around them and the noise they were making were all drowned out by the sound of renjuns heart beating wildly and the blood rushing to his ears, he let himself go then and kissed Lucas back.
The smaller of the two inched closer, situating himself in between the older's legs and holding onto his chest and t shirt as they kissed some more.
eventually they pulled away, jeno yelling in renjuns ear to break it up because of the children and his lack of oxygen causing his brain to finally work again and pull away quickly.
"damn renjun, look at you!" Donghyuck teased, pointing at the older's red cheeks and swollen lips.
Lucas was just giving him they usual dumb smile, the one that made him melt on the spot every time he saw it.
"I hate you" he pointed straight at Lucas, acting tough and like he was the meanest boy on the planet but they all knew otherwise.
"no you don't princess, you love me and I love you too" lucas said, smiling and moving to sit next to the smaller boy. "you really are so cute ren, I'm glad you let me kiss you" the older confessed.
The rest of the night was spent with the group of boys teasing renjun for finally kissing the love of his life and renjun cuddled up next to Lucas as they watched scary movies.
He wouldn't admit it, but he was glad jeno was stupid and gave them the idea of playing spin the bottle. Without him, he'd probably still be drooling over Lucas and fighting everyone who told him he liked the older.
Really, thank god for jeno and his stupid infatuation with Na Jaemin. Now he got to kiss and cuddle the boy he liked so much for years, got to finally admit his feelings and have them be returned.
"goodnight jun, sleep well cutie" Lucas said as he kissed renjun on the head and held him in his arms against his chest. "goodnight Lucas, sleep well" renjun yawned, holding onto Lucas tighter and falling asleep soon after.
