Your POV

I didn't look up from my desk. How could I? My crush, Todoroki Shoto, sat directly infront of me. I try to talk, but it all comes out as a mess. And it gets even worse when I am around him. I would occasionally glance up, but never for too long. I know that he thinks that I am strange. Everyone does. People give me strange looks as I pass them. I hear their whispers sometimes.

"She is such a freak."
"She has no friends."
"There is no way she will make it into U.A."

These people don't brother me. Its the ones who make it violent that bother me. They like to pull my hair and push me to the ground. I got a black eye from where one of them shoved me into a locker. They like to make fun of my wings and horns. They are like a dragons. I am like a dragon, honestly. I can create and manipulate fire.

"(Y/n), see me after class." I glanced up at the teacher and nodded.

"Wow such a loser."
"I know I don't pity her."

I may not be bothered by the ones that whisper. But they do anger me.

"Are you okay, (Y/n)? You seem to be out of it today." The teacher asked me after class.

"I-I'm fine. I have just been really tired lately." I answered, not telling the full truth. Until I said it, I didn't realize how tired I really was.

"Ok then, I just wanted to make sure." She said, sending me on my way. As I walked oit of the class I felt something hit one of my wings. I turned slightly, only to be hit in the face with a ball of paper. I sighed and continued to walk down the hall.

"Come one (Y/n)! Let us have some fun, will you?" The boy said, pushing me to the ground I felt tears jump into my eyes as they laughed at my weak state.

"That's enough." A low voice said, causing the kids infront of me to laugh. "Go on to class before I have you all suspended for bullying." The kids ran of and I turned to see who had helped me. My eyes widened once I saw Todoroki standing there with his hand out to help me up. I half expected him to pull back once he saw my face, but he didn't. I took his hand and he pulled me up to my feet.

"T-th-thank you." I said, looking at the ground.

"Do they do that often? Pick on you like vultures?" He asked and I nodded slowly. "How stupid can you be? Picking on such a strong looking girl?" He asked and a small laugh excaped my lips.

"I'm not strong at all. Just because I'm going to attempt at U.A doesn't make me strong." I said and he nodded.

"Well if you do make it, I hope we are in the same class. That would be fun." He said and a blush spread across my cheeks.

-time skip-

The day of the tryouts. Holy fudge I'm so nervous! I walked to my designated gate and awaited for the test to begin.

"GO!! WHAT?! THERE ARE NO COUNT DOWNS IN REAL BATTLES! GET IN THERE!" I rushed into the field, melting and crushing the robot villains. The ground started to rumble and I fell to my knees. I looked up and saw the massive zero point robot. People started to scream and run away. That's when I heard it. A few people screaming in pain and begging for help.

I looked for the source and found a group of people under some rubble. My legs started to move one their own and my wings lifted me to the monster's head. Fire shot from my hands and mouth and the robot slowly melted. I flew down to the people and used the little strength I had to lift the fallen rubble off of them and set them free.

'Just a few more points to guarantee that i-'

"TIMES UP!!" My thoughts were cut short by Present Mic screaming.

'Welp, all I can do is pray.' I thought, sighing.

-time skip-

My first day at U.A! Its going to be great! I hope that Todoroki made it into my class. 1-A. Sounds great! I opened the class door to see two people yelling at each other.

"It s her!" I heard a girl say, causing people to look at me. The sudden attention made me panic slightly.

"That's the girl that dead-ass melted the zero pointer!" I noticed it was a pink girl speaking.

"Looks like we got the same class." I turned quickly to see who was behind me and smiled when I saw Todoroki.

"I-I-I guess we d-did!" I said, surprised slightly.

-time skip- (sorry there are a lot lol)

"BATTLE TRAINING!! 1 V 1!!" All Might shouted. I sighed, hoping I didn't get paired with Todoroki. He would absolutely crush me!

"FIRST UP! URARAKA VS. ASUI!
SECOND! (Y/N) VS. TODOROKI!!"

JUST MY LUCK!! THE ONE PERSON I DIDN'T WANT TO BE AGAINST!! I groaned and heard a soft chuckle from Todoroki. I glared at him slightly.

Soon, the first fight was over and it was my turn.

"Good luck." Todoroki said, walking onto the field. The whistle went off and we charged at each other. Todoroki used his ice, but my fire easily melted. I lunged at him, knocking him to the ground. We rolled around for a bit, trying to get on top and stay there. Soon we stopped with me on top of him. We sat there, trying to catch our breath when we heard someone clear their throat.

"I-i believe (Y/n) won, seeing as she is on top." All might spoke with the coms. I realized the position that we were in and my face burst I to flames. Literally. They went everywhere. I jumped off of him, repeatedly shouting 'I'm sorry'. He started to giggle like a school girl, which made me giggle as well. We walked back to were the group was at and the girls wiggled their eyebrows at me.

"I didn't think your face would burst into flames when you blush!"
"So, what was it like?"
"I can't believe you won!"
"Way to go (Y/n)!"

I smiled at all of the compliments and looked over at Todoroki to see him smiling at me. This is going to be great.
