"My name is Hannah Kirk I am currently 15 years old and attending school, unfortunately. I have no siblings and live with my parents. My mom's name is Jolene and my dad's name is John. My parents are currently going through a divorce , it's probably the longest existing divorce ever, it's taken like two years for the papers to actually get printed and this time I think their really both going to sign them. It wouldn't come as a shock to me , I'm pretty used to seeing my mom and dad not around each other. My parents no matter what their problems where , they were always there for me. I remember that they would attend every sports match that I played in, every musical I took part in, I speech I spoke and every song I sang. I never ever remember them not being there for me. I used to have friends, a lot of them. I don't know what really happened but we all kind of drifted apart if I had to say which I'm still closest to , I would have to say Chloe. We however have not spoken in 4 years , but when we were together nothing and nobody mattered. We were always in a world of our own, I think we even had our own language when we were like in 4th grade. It's sad that we've drifted apart. I could really use a friend right now. I remember we had this huge fight the one day and we didn't speak to each other for a week, after the first day I knew it was a stupid fight I just didn't want to be the one to apologies first. if I could go back in time now , I would go to that moment ,pick up the phone and apologize first! If it means we could be friends now. Mom was the one who was there for me most of the time , I know dad tried his best but with work tying him down I hardly ever saw him. Mom used to pick me up before track if I wasn't in the mood , she would take me straight to the mall for a smoothie. We would play our music the loudest it could go and once we got our smoothie we would just talk for hours, well I would do most of the talking. I remember the one day we both had a pretty suckish day so she fetched me early from school because I was sick, it was a total lie. That day was the best my mom took me to the beach, the wind was pretty hectic which meant that nobody else was at the beach other than a couple surfers. we stayed there for about 4 hours , we mostly sat in silence just watching the waves crash over each other. We sat there and felt our bodies relax and we could now take deep breaths. I remember watching my mom sit there and her hair was loose and blowing in the wind , it was the first time I ever saw the side of her neck. Normally her hair would cover it, but not when the wind was blowing. I sat there watching her and I remember seeing a weird mark on her neck. It was sort of shaped like a hand print. At the time I didn't think much of it , maybe it was a birthmark. Now though , now I'm starting to think more of it."
