I sat in the front of the ambulance with Bobby as we drove to a distress call, Buck and Eddie were in the back.
"Are you going to keep the weight on?" I looked at Bobby.
"Excuse me?" I asked.
"You heard me, Faye. I don't like seeing you like this." I stared out the window biting my nails.
"It's none of your concern." I said as he pulled up to the house as I gasped.
A man was pinned against the gate and another man was standing beside him sobbing.Buck and I sat in the back of the ambulance with Thomas, I held his hand as he shook.
"When we got married we thought, what the hell, we have so little life left, we might as well live. That was Mitchell, always daring the clock."
I gave him a small smile.
"And me, I always followed along. All those foolish things we did, we only every wanted to-to go together. That's love." Thomas told us.
"I'm sorry. I really am. I can only hope to find something that good." Buck looked at me as my heart fluttered.
"You don't find it, son. You make it." Thomas told him.
"Son, you mind if I have - just a few moments alone with him?" He asked.
"Of course. It's no problem." I smiled at him.
"Here." Buck said as he helped him down.
"My sweet Mitchell." Thomas went down to Mitchell's side.
I turned my head to see their scrapbook, on the ground with their pictures scattered around.
I touched Buck's shoulder as we went over picking up the pictures looking at them.
"Do you think that'll be us?" I asked him.
"I hope so." Buck replied getting up.
"Thomas?" I heard Buck say as I turned.
Thomas' body was slumped over Mitchell's as Buck turned him over.
"Eddie! Cap! Come here!" I yelled as they ran over.
"I-I don't know what happened. He was just talking, he was responsive and then..."
"All right, start compressions." Bobby said as Buck did just that.
"Come on, Thomas. Come on, stay with me." Eddie checked Thomas's pulse then shook his head.
"Come on." Buck said as I touched his shoulder.
"Buck, he's gone kid." Bobby said as Buck stopped as I pulled him into my arms.
"It's alright. They're together now." Buck pulled away staring at the two.
"That's love." Buck said to us as I rubbed his shoulder.
"Faye, take Buck to the truck." I nodded.
Buck quickly picked up the book and photos as I lead him to the ambulance.
Buck sat inside as I stood outside resting my hand on his thigh.
"Please, don't die on me." He said as I looked up at him.
"Wasn't planning too." I rested my hand on his cheek as he kissed my palm as I smiled at him.I sat on the balcony, slowly sipping on my coke as Buck came out with a bowl of chips.
He smiled sitting down on the couch beside me.
I sighed resting my head on his shoulders as he pulled me into his arms.
"Do you think you're with each other?" I looked at him.
"Who?"
"Thomas and Mitchell. Do you think they're together?" Buck asked.
"I do, they're probably up there dancing their knickers off." I said as Buck laughed.
"Are you laughing at my accent?" I crossed my arms.
"No, I find incredibly sexy." I smirked as I threw my legs over his lap, straddling him.
"Well, I find you incredibly sexy." I leaned down pressing my lips on his.
Buck hands wrapped around my waist holding me closer as I cuffed his cheeks.
I slowly pulling away smiling at him.
"You make me happy." I said.
"You made me happier."
"Not possible."
"Yes possible." I pressed my lips on his once more.
