I looked at one of my fellow angels, as he told me the news. I was confused. I didn't know if there were anything wrong..
'What did I-- did I do something..?'
I thought quickly, rising from my desk filled with paperwork. Of course what I was working on needed to be done, but I'm sure it could wait. God would let it slide. For now. As my fellow angel exited through the golden doors of my office, I sighed, shaking my head, and left as well.
"I hope I didn't make a mistake by counting the souls that just arrived... He'd definitely send me to Inferno then.." I said to myself, rushing down the hall, outside, and to the House of God.
