Harry's P.O.V

"Daddy?"

I turned around, phone pressed to my ear as I heard my daughters voice. I smiled down at her, reaching over and wrapping my free arm around her and pulling her into my side. I listened to Paul on the the other end of the line, frowning as Saskia tugged at the hem of my shirt, trying to get my attention.

"Yeah, yup. Paul, I've gotta go. I'll tell the lads." I muttered into the phone, hanging up and kneeling, pulling Saskia into my lap. "Are you alright, little one?"

She cuddled into my chest, sighing. "I had another dream." She muttered, closing her eyes.

My heart clenched and I sighed into the top of her head, rubbing small circles into her shoulders. "What happened this time, baby?" I asked her, feeling her little arms tighten around me.

"This one was different. The - the lady turned around. She had my blue eyes, Daddy. It was Mummy, I know it was. But she didn't know me. She was trying to, but something was blocking her." She told me quietly.

I nearly choked, my heart leaping into my throat as I stopped breathing. Saskia looked up at me, her - at the moment - blue eyes shining with confusion and frustration. She understood that Jay couldn't be here, and that she'd been taken from us, but she just wanted to know her mother. She wanted to talk to her, be with her. Just like I did. But. Different.

I longed to hold her in my arms again and have be secure with the knowledge that she was safe and well, I wanted her to be here for Saskia, I wanted to be able to wake up next to her and god, I wanted to kiss her.

"Was she alright, Sas? How did she look?" I murmured into my daughters hair, clutching her to me.

I felt her shrug, before she answered. "She looked tired, and she had dark stuff under her eyes. I couldn't see anything around her." She told me, answering my other question before I asked.

"Alright. Well, have you had breakfast?" I asked her, taking her mind off the dream like I usually did.

She shook her head and looked up at me, giving me a toothy grin. "Louis said he'd cook eggs." She informed me.

"Wait - what?" I stood, hauling her up onto my shoulders.

She squealed, clutching at my long hair - which was now past my shoulders, oops - as her legs tightened around my neck, fighting to stay upright. I barely winced, walking towards the kitchen as the scent of burning eggs drifted through the air towards us.

Saskia laughed with delight, and I grinned, turning the corner. "Lou, what are you doing?!" I exclaimed, coughing dramatically at the sight of smoke filling the kitchen.

Louis laughed, waving a hand towel at the screeching fire alarm. "I put the eggs on and then Niall distracted me! I forgot all about them!" He told me, pointing at Niall, who squawked in indignation from where he was pouring burnt eggs into the sink.

I rolled my eyes, setting Saskia down and walking over to the pantry, pulling cheerios out and finding a bowl. Saskia leaped up to the island bench, sitting patiently on a stool and swinging her legs. Louis finally got the alarm to stop going off, and Niall set to work scrubbing the burnt eggs out of the pan.

Liam and Zayn chose to walk in at that moment, Jack trailing behind them with a bored look on his face. Our morning went simillar to every other morning we had, one of the boys trying to cook a breakfast up and failing, then everyone eating cereal around the island and leaving all the dishes for someone else to clean up.

During breakfast, Saskia finished quickly and after getting permission, bounded outside. As soon as she was out the door, I put my bowl down and turned to everyone, gaining their attention quickly. "Paul called me." I told them.

I could see all their ears perk up and I grinned. "When do we leave?" Liam asked.

"Less than a week. We're sort of all packed up already so there's really no point in waiting. We can move everything back to London and go from there. The tours, uh, sold out." I informed them excitedly.

The kitchen erupted in cheers, and everyone was pulled into a group hug. Jack stood off to the side, watching with hooded eyes. "I suppose Saskia is going with you?" He rumbled.

We pulled back, and I answered him. "Yes. And don't worry, we've taught her enough glamour that she'll be able to look like a normal two year old. She'll be fine." I reassured him.

He nodded and then brought his arm up, his hand rubbing the back of his neck. "I don't think I'll go with you. I know the offers there, but it's not really my scene and I'd probably end up killing someone." He muttered, completely telling the truth.

I nodded, stepping forwards slowly. "You can stay here. The house is as much yours as it is ours." I offered.

"Nah. I'm going to do a bit more travelling or something. Maybe I'll end up running into you." He shrugged, tucking his hands into his pockets and looking at me steadily.

"Well, you're always welcome whenever. When will you leave?" I asked.

He looked out the window at where Saskia was flitting between the trees, her wings spread out wide. "Tonight." He muttered.

"Well, I hope I'll see you again someday." I tentatively walked forwards and reached out my hand.

He took it with a wry grin and shook it, before stepping back and casting a look at the others. "It's been...Not good, I guess, but better than I would have expected. I consider you all...Comrades, I suppose, maybe brothers in one way or another. Either way I thank you for your hospitality and kindness, and if we ever cross paths again I hope you're all well at that time."

"We'll miss you mate." Niall spoke up, and the other three chorused similar goodbyes.

Jack gave us all a terse nod, before turning and walking to his room. I knew he'd be gone before the sun went down, taking his car or flying. He'd probably say a short goodbye to Saskia and then we'd see him in a couple of years. Or longer. I frowned, steering my thoughts away from the thought of the future. I hated it. It was scary - I was immortal, I had so long to go and there were others who...Didn't.

I took a deep, steadying breath and turned to the others. "I guess we should start packing, then." I said, and we did exactly that.
