(Kate's POV)
I wake up on Monday morning after a weekend without Mitch. No texting, no movie nights, no recording Minecraft and just acting crazy, no nothing! I feel so lonely even with Zach around.
Kynley and Adam are around but some times I just really need Mitch. I get ready wearing a pink poka-dotted tank top, light blue short shorts, and sandals. I braid my hair and put it on the side.
I grab all my things including my rainbow chevron book bag (which i really have and adore) and wait for Zach.
Kynley and Adam went to school early to go to the library and study for their test together but I had that test a week earlier and some how got a 97, wow okayyyyy! Zach said he would pick me up and take me to school.
After about 7 minutes he drives up in his sports car. Zayymmm girl! Anyways I hop in and we head to school.

We park and head to the court yard where you wait if you have a couple minutes and talk to other people. I see Mitch standing a few yards away and Team Crafted is also with him.
They are classified the popular kids (there is always one and you know it!) and now that Mitch and I aren't together I'm probably back to square one. I really don't care because it is about what is on the inside not the outside!
I go sit with Zach and his friends. I can tell everyone is just staring at me, it feels very awkward.
"Hey guys, you know Kate right?" Zach says as he sits down. I remember some of them, they are in my classes but others I have no clue as to whom they are.
"She is my girl friend" I smile politely but then realize what he said. About 2 seconds later he realizes that he called me his girl friend.
I turn to him and he quickly responds "I MEAN FRIEND GIRL SHE IS MY FRIEND GIRL!" We all just laugh it off.
I go to get some water because my throat is killing me! I get there and Mitch walks over beside me just staring while I get water. What a weirdo!
I come up after a couple drinks and he gazes at me waiting for something but I really don't know what to say.
"Sooooo" ok this is awkward
"Yeahhh" Mitch looks down to his feet then back up to me after he jumps
"Oh I remember, well I was just going to uh, well you see"
"Yes?"
"Well I was going to ask you, um a uh question!" Mitch smiles
"And that would be???" I giggle at his face because I really don't think he knows what to say.
"I was gonna ask you for a pencil yeah a pencil"
"YES...Wait what did you say?" I thought he was gonna ask me to go some where with him but I totally wrong!
"A pencil" he repeated
"Oh uh here" I grab a pencil from my book bag and hand it to him
He looks down at it and laughs, what's wrong with it?
"I like your choice in pencils" he says while still laughing
I remember what I did, apparently that was the pencils I used to see how many times I could write *I love Mitch* on and now I'm really embarrassed!
After that the bell rings and Mitch and I take our separate ways. I really hope my mind figures out what it wants sooner or later because I'm miserable without Mitch! God how long is this gonna take? I need him in my life!
