Chapter 24: Forget the past and move on

-That's what Kate looks like or at least what her hair looks like-
(Kate's POV)
"Oh my gosh no!" I scream at Mitch and I exit the movie. I cover my eyes, he was talking about how I acted during the movie because he just had to chose a scary movie!
"See this is why I don't come with you to places, you are such a child!" I say whining while he keeps on walking laughing his head off.
He might still be a kid that makes video games all the time but he is awesome. We walk through the mall because it is only about 7:00 maybe 7:30 and decide to grab something to drink.
I order mine and sit down after I get mine and wait for him. I start checking my phone passing the time and text Kynley back telling her about the movie. Mitch sets down his drink and we just sit here struck in a awkward silence.
"So Kate how did you and Zach meet?" He replies hoping to break the bond of silence
"Well this is going well and I don't want to ruin it, how about I ask you what's been going on besides all this crap that occurs in high school?"
He laughs silently then starts playing with his straw "Well recording mostly getting ready for school to end in a couple weeks. I'm happy I can finally get out of here and not worry about all this teenage relation ship shiz and just let go for awhile."
"Oh so true, what are you gonna do after high school?"
"Um not really sure I think that maybe just take my YouTube to the fullest and give it all my heart. You?"
"Probably going to collage for photography and the arts."
He looks up freezing and stares. What is he thinking?
"W-well where a-are you going to collage at... Is it close?"
"I got a full scholarship to a really good collage in Florida, and I-I'm gonna take it..." I say looking down at my finger nails and lay my head on the table, afraid of what he might think of this.
"Oh well I'll miss you."
"Yeah and I'm excited maybe this is the way it is supposed to be."
"Yeah, maybe we should go now it's getting late."
We head to my house and I get out. He walks me to the door and I'm just about to open the door.
"Hey Kate?"
I turn on my heels and raise my eye brows "Yessss?"
"Don't forget what we had, and mostly don't forget me!" He smiles but a tear slips out of his eye
I smile and reply "Never Mitch. Maybe we will meet some day and I wish you the best of luck, good bye."

A/N I got emotional in this. This chapter is shiz but I have a lot to say so hear me out. Okay I think that this might be the last chapter but there will be a sequel if you angels want me to make one. I did not update in a while because I had some one pass away. PLEASE TELL ME IF YOU WANT A SEQUEL!!!!! Okay so thanks doods I hit 400 reads OMG!
