Chapter 23: A different type of love

(Kate's POV)

This weekend could not come soon enough! But here it is. After Mitch set up this "get together" a while ago, we started recording as a group again, Mitch and I don't really record just the two of us because that is just to awkward.

He made another vlog telling all of his fans that he is still here because some of them were really worried about him.

I go to my room while Adam, (Kate's Friend) Kimberly, and Kynley are recording for their accounts. First I take a quick shower and freshen up.

Then I grab a 5SOS band crop top and some shorts because it is almost summer and it is really humid in Los Angeles! I put my hair up in a messy bun and wait at the door.

I don't want to say it but I'm glad we are going to this movie. But Mitch and I are still friends. Just friends...

(Mitch's POV)

"I'm freaking out! I am going to pick up Kate for this movie in 20 minutes and I don't know what to wear! I think I should bring her flowers... Maybe she will think I'm working to hard! But then again this is kind of like a date. NO! I should bring her a stuffed animal.

She loves those. Ok what movie are we gonna see again? What time does it start? I'M GONNA BE LATE!" I scream to Team Crafted they just stand there surprised at my sudden out burst.

"Mitch she likes you don't worry, if she didn't like you she would say no. You also wrote down what movie you were gonna see.

It starts in 2 hours and you don't have to bring her any thing she likes you the way you are!" One of them say but I was staring at my feet not really caring who said it.

"Okay I got this" I take a deep breath and go upstairs to get ready...

I finish getting ready and I say bye to the boys when Adam (Sky) and Ty start making kissy faces when I walk out. I slam the door and every one inside bursts out laughing.

Oh ok I can do this! I get in my car and then a song I believe I have heard before comes on...Why don't you love me. Wow coincidence much?

Let's see if I can make it tonight. I drive and listen to the song. Then there comes a red light.

The song goes on then I hear "Stuck at a red light" and I chuckle, these lyrics are very accurate!

I make it to Kate's house and my heart is beating a million times a minute. How she does this to me, I don't know! I slowly but surely knock on the door and a few seconds past when Kynley opens the door. She looks me up and down the turns around and yells "KATEEEEE MITCH IS HEREEEEE" I see she has not changed

Then Kynley turns around and tells me "I have already been through this discussion do I really need to say it again?" she stares at me intently and I shake my head very fast. She scares me some times.

Kate comes down the stairs and she looks just as gorgeous she did on the first day I met her.

She smiles and I lead her to my car and we drive off to the theater. Making small talk.

I hope this date goes well because I can't screw up again!

A/N Yell at me now! I'm sorry I have not updated in a week. 😭 This chapter sucks and I will get better, I'm still learning. I will update again soon but right now I have to go to the fair and I won't let you be left in a cliff hanger!
