I didn't know what was going on in my head, I think it was the fact I wanted a little breathing space from Rachel.

When I tell you she is so annoying it's unbelievable.

As I got up Gavin called me me, I noticed him getting up walking a few meters away which I got the hint to follow.

"Yeah?"

"She's not like that you know"

"What do you mean by that?"

"She's not a sket, slut, she isn't easy. She's not your type in other words."

"I know this man Gavin, drop the lecture. I just wanted to get away from Rachel, and we all like her company so-"

"-when did you like her company though" he replied cutting me off

"today have made me realise I shouldn't of judged her for her geeky-ness. She seems nice too" I said with a grin

"Whateveeer man, don't go on stupid. I'm just looking out for a friend init"

He said popping his collar.

Me and Charmaine were now on the bus making small conversation, very small indeed. She seemed very puzzled.

"What's on your mind?" I asked getting straight to the point, the bus wasn't full just a couple if people. Charmaine was sat on the seats on my right staring outside the window.

"Nothing" she replied looking at me

"Don't lie, is it because l offered to supervise you going home and make sure you come back out? Didn't expect it?" She looked unsure on wether to answer, it was like she was scared of me, I'm not use to this at all I mean, I'm use to girls wanting to hit every chance to talk to me, be close to me.

She looked back out the window then replied

"Why?" She was confused like everyone else was

"Because we all want you to come back out and like I said we go the same way. Don't over think the situation" she shook her head at the last part and crossed her arm. Attitude.

"I wasn't, I was just asking, it's not like you've been the nicest to me in the past"

I sighed, we were going to talk about this it was obvious.

"And I'm- I have to admit I judged you on how you looked at school which wasn't my place to do so. Both me and keondre think you're alright so far and misjudged you on your nerdy ways. It's not like we ever talked before"

She laughed, it was cute which made me smile.

"I understand, I was never planing on talking to you. Ever, you could of just said sorry you know, instead of explaining yourself so much"

"I could, I should but I won't."

"Why? A pride thing?" She asked with a smirk, the cheek of her questioning my manhood. I didn't answer and we both laughed, think she got the answer.

She started to stand up and her butt caught my view, the bus came to a halt which stopped me from staring anymore.

"C'mon mr ego!" She said making her way down the stairs of the bus

Maybe we could be friends too.

After she said thank you to the bus driver we made our way down the street talking about the sky, It's fascinating on what she could think about to say about the arrangement of the clouds, things I've never thought about for sure.

"So what's the plan?" I asked

"Urm, how about I go to my house and you go to yours"

I raised my eyebrows

"I came to make sure you came back out not for you to stay in"

"Oh yeah" she scratched her head

"You don't want me to know where you live do you" I said laughing, she laughed uneasily before replying

"No not really, no offence but I don't know you"

"None taken I understand"

"What phone have you got?"

"iPhone 4s, why?"

"You can use my mums charger it's fine." Before she could object I pulled her arm going the direction of my house, not going to lie she was pretty strong and determined she doesn't want to go. She was slowing down the process putting up a fight about how she just won't go or she'll meet me at the bus stop in 20 minutes but I knew better 'when Charmaine goes home, she isn't coming back out; fact.' It got serious when she sat on the floor and crossed her arms and refused to move, this slightly entertained me, it was like bonding with my little sisters tantrums

"It's not fair! I don't even want to go to this 'drink up' no more, why do I have to go to your house! You could be trying to rape me-"I burst out laughing, she was not serious.

"- or even kill me! oh my days! Help!" She started to shout which got my attention.

Kneeling down to her level I realised I should talk to her like a child if she's going to act like one.

"Charmaine! Stop it"

"What!?"

"You're being stupid, are you mentally ill"

"No I'm not you baboon, I just don't trust you"

"Well you're going to have to"

I flung her on to my shoulder and proceeded to walk

She began her punching but after around 6 she gave in to the fact I wasn't going to put her down.

It was silent for a while and I assumed it's because she was not happy with me

"My mum and sister's home, you don't have to worry" she didn't reply. I sighed, I've never got aired from a girl before, I look at this saturation like an assignment to prove to Gavin I ain't such a prick.

I was nearly home when I heard quiet snoring. I started to laugh till she began to twist and turn, she fell asleep.

As soon as I turn the key in the door my little sister runs to the door screeching, I put my finger to my lip indicating to shh and got the drift cloning my action. I turned around to shut the front door quietly, when I turned around my mum was starting at me waiting for a explanation

"I can explain"

"You better" with that she turned around going back into the kitchen to finish cooking I presumed.

I brought her upstairs to the spare room and rested her down gently then leaving the room.

It was only 5pm, what nutter falls asleep like that anyways.

"Gavin, Bruv I'm telling you she just fell asleep after her tantrum of her chatting shit"

"I don't believe you, who falls asleep like that. Did you rape her!! I didn't even have you down for a rapist you know, like did you make her blackout with your dick!? Bruv Naaa!"

"Is this a sick joke,I couldn't put myself in that position to rape no chick man! You're asking for a hi fist to your face!"

"You're sick! Nothing happened!! I put her on my shoulder and she fell asleep I guess she felt comfortable, I have respect for her anyway,

"*sigh* alright man, I have your word for this but I'm still going to have to confirm this with her, what next? You going to wake her up"

"Yeah cool. Naa, I think I'm just going to let her sleep for a bit, but explain it to Keondre, tameka and kylie though."

"Alright, you coming back out?"

"Nope, ain't on it no more. I've got to go explain to my mum now too ...oh yeah don't let the other girls know, next thing you know they'll think it's alright to come on my doorstep.
