The Story of Luna Lapis (Pokemon)

She just reached the contest building. She had bathed and brushed all of her pokemon just like all the coordinators. When she turned to see what Azurill was staring at it turned out to be May freaking out about a Beautifly on her face. "How dramatic can you get ?" She muttered.

Espeon, Mudkip, Azurill and Poochyena were her only pokemon for now. Since this was her first pokemon contest she planned on using Espeon. A days walk would take her to Rustboro City after she won this contest.

When she heard May mention if you win you get a cute little ribbon. She guessed that the older coordinator who were now with them were explaining about the contest. May had just made her have a lesser opinion of the Gym Leader's daughter. Since she had all ready signed up for the contest. After brushing Espeon she noticed a Sentret using Iron Tail. It smashed the rock and that got her attention, it seemed the trick was strengthening the tail.

Ash's Pikachu was lifting some small rocks by its tail. She still had time so she copied what Pikachu was doing. "Now lift with your tail Espeon," she instructed. "Espeon," her pokemon said as she lifted her thin forked tail.

Later

The Rustboro Ribbon was red with pink outlines. Espeon was going to win this, with years of training and studying plus with the special food and snacks that enhanced her Espeon's natural beauty they were sure to win.

Her Entry

"Double Team and Shadow Ball," she ordered. At once in a circle Espeon's doubles used Shadow Ball at the same time creating beautiful flashes of light. They received 30.0 points, the highest score. The second highest was a 29.5 for the Venomoth. Waving at the crowd they left. Janet with the Beautifly, May and Max were her assistants it seemed.

After they were done the two received a 30.0 points. The next was Mademoiselle Jessica and her Serviper.When she gave the order for Sacred Fire and the pokemon just gave its trainer a confused look. Water Pulse, Blaze Kick and several other did the head shaking go to sweating to a waterfall of sweating.

"How embarrassing," she said to Espeon. When it was ordered to use Poison Tail did the snake pokemon look relieved and at once used the move. The Mademoiselle Jessica was sent hurtling away from the stage. The point they received was a 0 but she doubted they noticed because both pokemon and the assistants ran off.

"That was the most horrible thing I have ever seen in a contest."

The final four were her and three others. She had Janet and her Beautifly.

Later

"Luna vs. Jazz !"

Once their pokemon were out did Jazz order," Use Stun Spore !" Smiling she ordered,"Confusion !' The Stun Spore was stopped before it would reach Espeon. "Lets finish this off, Espeon use Sunny Day and then Hyper Beam !" At once the whole room became bright and sunny. With the bright light came a powerful beam that hit its target squarely.

Once the smoke cleared Venomoth was clearly unable to battle and out of points too. "Luna wins the contest !" Suddenly two people in magician costumes and masks appeared saying they were invited to congratulate her. Giving her bokay of red roses when white smoke came out of it did she hurl it away from herself.

"Espeon !" her pokemon cried out from beside her. As the smoke covered them did she yell,"Espeon !" while jazz yelled,"Whats going on ?!" As the smoke cleared she saw that Venomoth was caught in a net while Espeon had obviously dodged their attempts to catch her. Turns out Team Rocket wanted to steal their pokemon.

Ash sent out Pikachu and ordered it to use Iron Tail. "No way, not in a half of a day," she said. Pikachu's tail glowed but was unable to properly finish the attack. May's Torchic Tackled Serviper and used Ember to break the nets. The two bug pokemon, Venomoth and Beautifly used Double Gust.

With that Team Rocket were blasting off again. After she received her ribbon did she leave to go to Rustboro City.
