Blake isnt a girl who loves to drink, she lives to drink.

It's the stress reliever, the pain killer, the get away.

She isn't one to go to a bar, get completely wasted, then fuck some guy. Blake loves the burning sensation of vodka flowing down her throat.

---

"Blake" someone calls from the dancefloor of the bar. "What do you want?" Blake yells back. "Dance with me." They demand. "Dani, I didn't come here to dance with you. You said you'd leave me alone to drink if I came with you." Blake replies.

"But, I saw a hot guy on the dance floor, he'll notice me if we're dancing together. Come on." Dani pleads. "Fuck, Dani, fine." Blake gets up from her seat at the bar and grabs her purse from the counter.

"I can't believe I'm doing this." Blake complains. "B, you'd be sitting at that bar all night drinking your sarrows away." Dani says. "Exactly."

Dani knows everything about Blake. Should she know? Probably. Does she want to know? Not really.

"Blake, I really need to get you help. You drink way too much." Dani jokes. "Well shit, do you want me go back to the bar?" Blake adds. "No, come on." Dani laughs and grabs Blakes arm.

"The guy is to your right, he's really tall." Dani explains in Blakes ear as Blake barely moves to music.

"Blonde?" Blake asks. "Yes, do you think hes hot?" Dani questions. "Yeah, I guess. He doesnt really look like my type, kinda like a goody goody. You guys are perfect for eachother." Blake laughs.

Dani knows she is nothing like Blake, but she isn't a goody goody. Yet, she's not as bad as Blake. Everyone wonders how they're best friends.

They both occasionally look at him while they laugh and dance to shitty music.

"Is he walking over to us?" Dani asks feeling nervous. "Doubt it." Blake snorts.

He makes his way over to Blake and Dani. "Do you want to dance?" He asks Blake. "Who? Me?" Blake asks. "Yeah." The hot male smirks.

Blake bursts into fits of laughter says "No, sorry pretty boy." and walks back to the bar, still laughing.

She sits in her usual spot and orders the strongest they have. This was going to be a long night.

The hot male who just got rejected, stands in the middle of the dance floor, confused as to what just happened.

He looks at Dani then back to Blake who is sitting in a stool at the bar.

"Did I do something?" He asks Dani. She laughs and replies with "Nope, thats just the way Blake is."

"Blake." He thinks. "Cute name."

Blake has finished two of the strongest drinks they have but is still in her right mind and isn't slurring her words, yet.

The nameless hot male is still wondering about Blake, so he walks over to the bar and sits right next to her.

"I'll have the same as her, thanks." He tells the old bartender and hands him a ten dollar bill.

"What the hell?" Blake asks the male and rolls her eyes. "Actually, don't talk to me. Oh, and if you would, move down a couple seats, this is my seat. I don't want you around."

He looks at her and smiles. "Come on babe, don't be difficult."

"Excuse me, don't call me babe." Blake says harshly.

"Okay, sorry Blake." He returns.

"How the fuck do you know my name?" Blake demands while the thought of punching him runs through her mind.

"Calm down. Your cute friend told me." He smiles while gesturing to Dani on the dance floor.

Blake rolls her eyes "Then why not ask her to dance?"

"You really are a feisty little thing, Blake." He smiles.

"God damn, stop smiling. Plus, I dont care what you think of me." Blake replies.

"Clearly." The male laughs.

"Um, okay. Well you've killed my buzz and I'm annoyed. Bye." She says rolling her eyes and standing up from her seat at the bar.

She opens her purse, getting out her wallet.

"Don't worry about it tonight, babe. It's on the house." The old bartender explains.

"Thanks, Jerry. See you soon." Blake says and leans over to kiss him on the cheek.

"You aren't driving home in this condition, right?" Jerry adds.

"Oh, of course not. I always grab a taxi. Dani insisted on coming with me tonight so she drove. We all know she never drinks." Blake answers.

"Alright, stay safe doll." Jerry says as Blake walks away.

"How do you have better game than me?" The hot male asks Jerry.

"She's been a great customer for a year and a half now. Comes around three times a week, probably. She's not something you want to get involved with, kid." Jerry says.

"Why?" He asks.

"Some secrets are meant to be kept." Jerry answers.

The male looks around the bar to see Blake and Dani have left quickly.

His eyes meet the white iPhone laying on the counter in front of Blakes usual seat.

"Shit. She left her phone." He tells Jerry.

"You heard her, she'll be back soon." Jerry replies.

The male says goodbye after finishing off his drink and walks out of the bar to his '96 camaro and drives away.

He will definitely be back soon.
