"Bye Mom, Bye Dad love you and gonna miss you" telling them while hugging them "be good and remember don't worry Nina" "I won't dad now go or you gonna miss the flight and you still need to go to the airport" mom nodded "she's right Rio let's go, if something happens to one of you call us Nina and even you hun" I nodded "now go, love you" with that they kiss my forehead and left. "Nina, I'm gonna go shower and go out for a walk with my friend" grabbing my phone from the table "Luke or Sara?" she asked grabbing the dirty plates "you don't know him-" "oh it's a boy" I laughed "not like that Nina, now I'm going to shower cause I am gonna be late" and with that I went upstairs to get ready.
"Oh my god, you seriously did that?" I said laughing "hey! it wasn't my fault that I had to undress in my boxers cause a bee came in my clothes" tears coming down my face with laughter "you are hilarious" "ok, ok, enough now come on let's sit down on a bench". When we sat down he got a cigarette out at least that's what it looks like but in a weird way, "you want a hit?" I stared at him "um I never smoked before" "take a hit, it makes you relax" I grabbed it and took a hit "damn girl, you were amazing for the first hit" I laughed "it's just a cigarette with weed now tell me about your self" I crisscross my feet looking at him.
"I'm Lucas and I'm twenty-seven years old, I'm from Canada but moved here to LA around two months ago cause I opened a shop here I am a tattoo artist. What about you?" I looked at him "I'm Valentina Brooks and I am um seventeen years old, I'm from here and I am still in school" I whispered "wait, what? seventeen?!" Lucas said sitting up and I sat up too "wait! I know I didn't tell you yesterday but I was having fun an-" "I gave you coke If I got caught yesterday I will be in jail" I sighed "I'm sorry, please I know I only knew you what? a day but I had fun" I sat down "Val we can still meet up you look like a great friend but if you decide to take something it's not on me" I nodded agrees "can we go eat something? on me" I said sitting up "fine" he replied laughing.
Four hours later and somehow we are at his house smoking weed "this shit is amazing!" laughing "you are young Val, don't start with these things they can end you" Lucas said in a serious tone "oh shh it's not like I'm gonna be an addict. I'm hungry can we make something or we order something or wait we go out" he laughed "let's go Mc Donald's" "YAY" I put on my shoes "you look like hell here wear this sunglasses to cover your eyes" I grabbed them saying thank you and followed him to the car.
My phone started to ring "hello" munching on the fries "Val? where are you?" Sara said through the phone "I'm at Mc Donald's with Lucas, why?" "I was going to tell you if you want to come over and have a movie night," I thought for a second "come over at mine tell Luke too, I will be home in thirty minutes," she said okay and that she will bring sweets and we hung up. "We are having a movie night would you like to come?" closing the papers of the finished food "sure but tomorrow I need to go to the shop I have a customer" "sure, let's go you can meet Nina she's our butler" he laughed and we went to the car.
"NINA IM HOME" I yelled hang the keys and remove the shoes "IN THE LIVING ROOM HUN" "wow you got a big house" I shrug went to the living room "Nina this is Lucas, Lucas this is my awesome woman Nina" they shook their hands "Val can I talk to you in the kitchen please?" I nodded telling Lucas to make himself at home and followed Nina to the kitchen. "Hun you know your mum and dad don't approve someone who they don't know.." I sighed "I know but can it be between us? please" she nodded I smiled hugging her "Luke and Sara will be here soon we are having a movie night, don't worry about making us dinner" "okay hun, I'm gonna go dry the clothes" and with that, she went to continue her work and I went next to Lucas.
*Next Morning*
Yesterday was awesome we drank some vodka that Luke brought with him, we ate, laugh and when Sara and Luke slept me and Lucas smoked a bit and let me tell you, I slept like a baby. Right now I am at the mall alone Sara went with her parents somewhere and Luke had to go with his brother-in-law to try the suit for his sister wedding and Lucas went to his shop. Mom and dad called they asked how I am and etc as I was walking I saw a dress and it was gorgeous so I decided to go in and try it.
TXT from Sara: There's a party tomorrow, you can sleep at mine and we leave for school on Monday from mine. What do you say?
TXT to Sara: I'm in babyyy. Can I ask Lucas?
TXT from Sara: sure xoxo
You, probably wondering: Do you like Lucas? no, he's not my type but he's fun to be around with. After I brought the dress I went to Starbucks and ordered and went to sit down, pulled my phone out and texed Lucas.
TXT to Lucas: there's a party tomorrow, you in? ;)
A minute later he replied.
TXT from Lucas: count me in.
I'm glad things went wrong between me and that asshole, I wouldn't live this awesome life and be the person I am today. I can't wait for tomorrow.
