Chapter 10

"We're in the living room darling"  I heard Trisha saying "Zayn do I need to remove my shoes?" he laughed shaking his head no and walked to I assume the living room and I followed him, "hey mum, hey dad, hey girls," he said sitting down but I stand there smiling "hi guys" I said "Valentina!!" Safaa said standing up and ran to me hugging me "I knew you only a day and you are like my best friend already" I hugged her back smiling "same you have the character as mine, don't get me wrong Doniya and Waliyha" they laughed "it's okay" Doniya said "sit down dear, Yaser soon be here from work" Trisha said and Safaa pulled me with her and made me sit next to Zayn and she sat across us "you have a lovely house Mrs Malik" I told her "it's Trisha and thank you, dear," I  looked at Zayn and then at her again "this is for you guys" I stand up and giving the bag to Trisha "oh honey you shouldn't have" I smiled and sat down again "it's something small for inviting me over", she opened the bag and smiled "dad is gonna love that" Wali said "even you mum" Doniya told her "thank you dear" she stands up and hugged me and I hug her back. 

After she put the wine away she looked at Zayn and then at me "so you guys are together?" she asked "we just met mum and yes we kissed there and there but we are taking things slow and I was going to tell you guys but I thought now it will be early, but someone decided to spill the secret" Zayn said glaring at Safaa than looking at his mum "it's good that you guys are taking things slow and Valentina me, Yaser and the girls here likes you already" I smiled feeling my cheeks getting red "thank you guys" I felt Zayn hand grabbing mine and pulled me closer to him "you guys are so cute" Wali said "thank you" I smiled. Thank you, god, for making this turning good.

After twenty minutes of laughing and chatting, we heard the front door closing and someone yelling "we are in the living room Yaser" Trisha yelled a bit he walked in and kissed the girls forehead and Trisha's cheeks and sat down next to her "sorry I'm late but something came up at work and couldn't leave early" he apologised "it's fine dear Valentina brought us our favourite wine" he looked at me smiling "thank you so how are you son? and you Val" he asked and I let Zayn respond first "I'm good the way you asked it's like I don't live here" Zayn joked making us laugh "and I'm okay," I told him "good, good" he stood up "you should stay for dinner" I looked at him than at Zayn then at him again "I ask aunt if it's okay for her to me eat here and if she says yes, I stay" he nodded smiling "good, dear I am gonna go take a shower" Trisha nodded and with that he left.

"I'm gonna go call my aunt," I told them sitting up "sure love go in the hallway if you want," Zayn said and I nodded excusing myself and went in the hallway. After calling my aunt I went back and sat down "she said it's okay" I said smiling "yay! oh my god, mum, can she come with us to the games room with us?" Safaa sad sitting up "sure hun" Trisha replied the girls sat up and Safaa grabbed my hand pulling me up, "you coming to Zayn?" I asked him he shook his head no "I come later love you go have fun" I nodded and followed the girls.

*Zayn POV*

I smiled seeing Valentina leaving with my sister "you like don't you?" I looked at mum and nodded "yeah even though we just met but she's awesome to be around" mum smiled and sat up and came next to me "how old is she?", "she's turning eighteen in three months and she came here cause her ex-boyfriend cheated on her and she started to do drugs, then she was a party and she passed out and that's when her parents found out they were in New York for work. When she was discharged from the hospital they told her to get help but her parents thought its best for her to come here so she can maybe find herself" mum nodded grabbing my hand "son if she respects you and be loyal to you then I don't care, love can break you and maybe she lost her self because of him but make sure in the future if you guys continue which I hope, you don't do the same. I know I didn't raise you like that but I'm just telling you and the same words I am telling you goes to her as well, I love you son" she hugged me feeling a tear coming from her eye "I'm proud of you" I looked at her smiling "mum don't cry now c' mon let's go next to them it's been long since we played in the games room" she laughed sitting up "let's go".
