At the time of creation, the father of evil gave birth to the creatures of darkness. Demons, trolls, goblins, dragons and other monsters. Then, from nothing, light came into being. Imara, goddess of light, took example from the darkness and set out to create her own living beings. Animals, fish, birds, humans. However, the creatures of darkness did not appreciate that light appropriated their territory while humans despised the chaotic nature of darkness. A violent war ravaged the world, which pushed the two deities to intervene.

Imara and the father of evil engaged in many duels, causing various catastrophes around the world, transforming the landscape forever. Mountains disappeared, lakes dried up, earthquakes and endless storms ravaged the earth. For several decades, no battle tipped the victory in either direction. The creatures of light and darkness were on an equal footing. Until the darkness struck a fatal blow.

The father of evil, disconcerted by the achievements of humans, decided to take a closer look at this creature in the hope of creating something that could defeat them all. Despite everything, he could not reproduce the complexity of these beings. Jealous of Imara's creative achievement, he chose instead to steal his creature. Every time a human fell in battle, the darkness would burn the body of the deceased so that he could rise again in the enemy camp. This abominable creature called the "undead" changed the course of the war. Unable to simultaneously fight the father of evil and protect his creatures from the new forces of darkness, the light was doomed to defeat.

Destruction

The world is swallowed up by darkness. The father of evil has defeated the goddess of light.

A dark fog covers the Earth's surface. Toxic to light creatures, but safe for dark creatures. The only areas to be spared are the mountains large enough to escape its reach and the Oloven Highlands, protected by the sacred flames of Imara. Most of what remains of humanity now resides on these lands with the hope that one day the goddess of light will return to dispel the darkness.
